Do Level 50 Pokémon get to Mega-Evolve for free?

You have likely already Mega Evolved it once.

Thanks for the insight. I have already Mega-Evolved him several times; but every time has cost me at least 8 or 10 mega energies.

For whatever it’s worth, he isn’t giving y’all a cold shoulder but looking at his Mega reflection (in the upper-right corner) in honor of reaching level 50.
