Lets talk - (anything)

Why you are so much desperate to enter that link ? If you want to talk about something, then this is the best place to do so. Therefore rather than diverting the people here and there by your explanations and link(s), you should directly talk to the point for which you had created your account.

Nope. Everyone goes through the same process. We cannot just let random people post random links, no one knows where those links lead to. If we know you enough, the link restrictions will automatically disappear.

Dataminers found out something new in Pokemon GO codebase :

Hope this also brings out remote group trading with friends.

People who kick others instantly are the worst. I always make sure at least 5/6 of the Gym defenders have been in for 8 hours and 20 minutes before I take one on. Unfortunately the favor hardly ever gets returned.

That cutthroat behavior helped to turn me off to gyms. I found it easier to use real coin, since itā€™s been my primary hobby (so itā€™s not eating deeply into other needed spending). Plus, it keeps me from having hard feelings towards any of the players around me not to be competing against them (so itā€™s worth it).

FWIW, my main has gotten some candy XL recently. The embargo seems to have lifted. :relieved:

Iā€™ve never understood the whole checking if others have been in for X time before battling a Gym. If Iā€™m in an area within my small window of time to play Iā€™m not going to spent more of that time hoping to find Gyms with longer times of occupation. I battle, I move on and if Iā€™m knocked out within a few minutes so be it.
Gym battles and occupation is a part of the game. Itā€™s not my responsibility to make sure other players collect coins. I have no idea how many Gyms they occupy or if theyā€™ve already collected the max for the day as it not their responsibility I do either.
I do however believe there should be a lock out period of xx time after first occupation to prevent the immediate take back by those that sit on Gym(s). Iā€™d like to see that being any where from 10 to 30min.

Wish I could tell how much longer a lure will be active. I want to change the normal lure in the stop next door to a magnetic lure and can wait here before leaving if itā€™s less than 20 minutes. If I make a quick trip to a store now, it may be changed by the time I get backā€¦

Iā€™m grateful that many other things have timer indicators (incense, mega evolve, stardust booster), and having one for lures would be quite helpful. Do they want me to wait to watch? Or to walk and gather? Hm?

Dexerto really creates an article about pretty much every thread in the TSR subreddit at this point

It took very long effort to be at this point :

I caught this Meditite this Psychic Spectacular event with 14/14/14 IVs. Without much resources available to me, like Pokeball and Pinap berry, I somehow managed to accumulate 93 XL candies. Now I only need 10 more to push this Medicham to GL Cap limit !!

@Brobraam , I am also coming near to you, so that I can also say that I have Medicham available for Great League !!

Something differentā€¦
Iā€™m trying to create a chart for all dates PokemonGo gives to us, and Iā€™m too old to have all these things in mind.
The problem is that, for example, the charts @Jormdeworm gives to us, are very informative, but every event is por seperate. But this way I loose the control, I need a continuous list, if not Iā€™m lost.
Iā€™m constructing an Excel-Chart for this information, but maybe somebody has a better ideaā€¦

All this because Iā€™m tired to loose eventsā€¦ (I have caught not one of the Growlithesā€¦) :sleepy:

You mean you want something like a calendar feature, similar to the one on the official website? I can try to find a way to do this, although I donā€™t think Discourse supports calendars

I can create topics like, ā€œthis month in PokĆ©mon GOā€ and then add a dedicated event for every date, that should work, no calendar feature needed.

If I have to do it personally, it wouldnā€™t be so bad. What Iā€™m looking for are ideas :star_struck:

But if you want to try to publishā€¦ even better :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

What I have in mind is,

  • October 1: ā€¦
  • October 2: ā€¦
  • October 3: ā€¦
  • October 4: ā€¦
  • ā€¦

Etc although that may be a tedious read. Your idea looks a lot better at least to me personally.

Thereā€™s a free app that I occasionally use called Go Field Guide which covers some of this - and a lot of other stuff like Pokedex checklists.

There are probably others out there too.

Hereā€™s a couple of screenshots showing the diary partā€¦

Might be of some use if anyone hasnā€™t seen it before :man_shrugging:t2::slightly_smiling_face:

Is there already a calendar like that? Iā€™m not sure if itā€™s reasonable to make another, unless the existing one is insufficient in some way, or not widely available. Replication of effort seems so pointless in most situtations. (Just saying the word makes me want a napā€¦)
