Lets talk - (anything)

I haven’t been bothered to play at all the last week. I just figured I missed five days of stamps and missed my 7 day screenshot streak again. Ah, if only it was worth something… the game really is done at this point.

Beautifrully done 3d renderings and a neat concept. Having it all in one line just makes it too long for my attention span.

Since showing this would mean making a video grab of every capture encounter until the bug reproduces, I won’t post a clip (not here and not in a bug report).

Occasionally, though, switching to a Great Ball will give me a capture screen with an invisible ball to throw. Putting finger on the usual spot and spinning produces the sparkly highlights we usually get when we spin the ball. And if I release the ball at the right spot, the throw can catch the mon. (But that part is harder, with no visual feedback to help time the release.)

Below is a pair of screenshots showing the ball counter with the ball being invisible, and the clock elapsing a minute between frames.

One week ago I had the same effect, but wasn’t able to reproduce the situation.
So, as you say, it’s by switching to a great ball?

So far that’s the one thing that seems to be the same every time it happens. I’ll try to pay closer attention, to determine whether the lure-spawn is also a part of it.

Well, after some days of retiretment, here I am again.

As I told my main account is banned. But you can imagine that there are more than one account above my control.

I am shure that Niantic will NOT control my way of life or my way of playing. So I decided to create my own Pokédex, based on thousands of screenshots I have of all the catches I’ve made.

Shurely I have lost some of my catches because not all of them have been fotographed, but it’s complete enough. In this moment my database has 3153 screenshots. I’m now in the phase where I have to actualize the data with captures in my secondary account (before Niantic shuts it down as well). A lot of work, so please, beg my pardon, be patient with a lower participation in this web.

I will go on playing the game, but in my own way. My results will be a sumary of several accounts, and I can’t give screenshots of them, because all detailed results will not reflect my data of sums.

Summary, I hope we can be together long time, but my style of playing will not be the offiicial one. And shurely I will try to go on in my work for the comunity.

There will always be a reminder of your first main trainer’s achievements in my Friends List…

RIP bagguille #1 :sob:… but LONG LIVE BAGGUILLE #2!! :grinning::+1:

In the same vein as leaving an empty chair waiting at the table for a departed friend, your entry in my friends list will always have a gift for you that remains unopened…

I hope the results of your project meet or exceed the vision you have for it.

Many thanks to both of you.
I’m hard working to create the base of this new project. The Database is created and filled with my captured creatures. Now I have to find a way that the front sight is as easy to use as inside the game. -puuuh-

Maybe I found something @vorgriff3 … can be it’s a bug from remembering the last used ball.

Today I used an Ultraball, and when I started the next catch this Ultraball appeared as ball to play, but I changed to Superball. In this moment the ball disappeared and moving my finger only provoced some sparcs. I throwed this unvisible ball as memorized the movement and caught the Pokémon with an Excellent throw, hahaha

Yeah, I noticed a few days ago that switching to great or ultra ball can trigger it. I suspect switching to regular ball can also cause it; but I haven’t tested that.

Today I’ve caught 6 Rufflet, the double than in the last three years. Anyone else has noticed something?

A nest perhaps? - Rufflet is a baby bird after all

Nice surfeit. I can’t remember the last time I saw a wild Rufflet. Maybe 2 or 3 months ago? There aren’t any nearby at the current time, either.

Well, apart of Rufflet, maybe all of you know that I have more than one account. And better it is this way, because Niantic has cancelled my main account (at a few passes to level 50). I know, the fault was my, because I put it in danger… but anyway, I will never accept thta I have put in disvantage other accounts.
This game is and is not a competition with other players. All of us are proud if we get something ingame before others, but really it doesn’t matter and it’s more important to be proud of what you get.
Niantic has taken away my main account, but before I had taken screenshots of all important catches I made, and I’m putting all of them in a personal Pokedex, and the few to fulfill I will get with the rest of accounts. The control of faults is more difficult, yes, but in Germany you are taught as child that diffuclties in life helps you to grow

So, no problem, I will go on in my way to have a (personal) complete Pokedex and one day I will reach the “cath’em all” :index_pointing_at_the_viewer: :index_pointing_at_the_viewer:

What yall been up to

The typical programs to jump all around the world, but if you are not carefull enough, happens what has to happen.
But I’m not angry. I was actuating outside the rules, and I have made errors. And the other side has actuated as they have to.

Something very different is that I don’t understand why this rules exist. And that I’m a person who never will fulfill rules I don’t understand.

Having met several players who refuse to spend real money to play, I realize at least one aspect of the game IS a competition against others, with harvesting coins from nearby gym ownership as their sole means for any in-game purchases. THOSE players are the ones I find to take it most personally when somebody from across the world takes over their gym by tweaking their phone’s location. I find chasing gym ownership to be more tedious than it’s worth, though; so it does not personally affect me, But I can understand both sides of the argument and am grateful not to have an obligation to take sides on it.

From the first time the 8-hour-rule was installed, I ONLY take a gym when all the players inside are there for more than 8.15 hours. And I do it in gyms in the more lost places, where I know I will stay a lot of time without gaining nothing, as well as in New York.So my jumping is helping others, not doing any harm.
