Seeing the same bait-and-switch repeatedly (where I go to the spot shown in the nearby display and don’t find the pokemon that the nearby still says should be there). Circling the spot at different distances makes no difference. Spinning the stop while I’m there makes no difference, either. Whatever.

Wow, what a circuit! several hundred km, I’m guessing. Did that get you credit for any Pokéwalking?
To be exact, 5223km worth of train lines.
Two weeks away, had about 90km walked in Pokémon go each week

A big part of Portugal’s currently burning, unfortunately, so depending on the time you must have caught extra smoke/bad air and heat. Did you manage to try any special food? That’s what I like the most when visitting different places, at least.

Yeah I’ve heard of that. I didn’t see much of it; but I have heard that the nearest fire at the time was about 50km away.
Yesterday I also got a message that trains through Galicia were disrupted due to fires;
Am I glad I got out of the forest fire area (even the ones in France) on time — (7th of August I took the train from Barcelona to Lyon)
I did see some firefighter airplanes collecting water between Béziers and Montpellier while I was on the train, which was interesting

Weren’t there like 20 trainers at a time in the max battles? Mine against zapdos seem to be FULL with 4, and no invitation button shows for us to get more. Besides, the wait goes right to final countdown to GO as soon as the group reaches 4.
This seems radically more limited than what I remember from other max battles
If I remember well they were talking of several groups of 4 players, separate but fighting together. But then, or all other groups were waiting for yours, or by casuality all fill at the same moment??? Something strange again?
I thought some of the earlier gigantimax had up to 40 trainers at a time.
I went 3 for 3 moltres last night and 1 for 1 zapdos. Hard to reconcile that with being 0 for 5 today.

I’m shure some of you have read it already.
From 15 of october we can grow up to level 80.
The investigations between 40 and 50 will be eliminated, and newones will be seen between 70 and 80.
The elimination between 40 and 50 is the best for me. I’m so long time stuck because I don’t like the Battle Leagues. And now, maybe, because of the accumulated PX I will jump upside.

I did indeed read it. I am really surprised by this seemingly random announcement, but it is a welcome one.
I’m kinda surprised they are planning to remove the research requirements for level 41-50, but it’s a welcome one. Although I do like a challenge, just like you said I also hate the GBL tasks so I am glad they are at least gone until level 70 now (which I will probably never reach, anyway). I did prepare for a few upcoming levels, but I guess I can ignore that now.
I do hope their XP rebalancing works out well though. I would have preferred more challenging tasks over endless XP grind but this balancing could help if done well. Knowing Niantic, probably not, but I will wait to see it myself first.
There is no help for discobot, and none of discobot’s answers is helpful.
