Lets talk - (anything)

They’re not bad, not too great either

14/12/11

I’m shure some of you have read it already.
From 15 of october we can grow up to level 80.

The investigations between 40 and 50 will be eliminated, and newones will be seen between 70 and 80.

The elimination between 40 and 50 is the best for me. I’m so long time stuck because I don’t like the Battle Leagues. And now, maybe, because of the accumulated PX I will jump upside.

I did indeed read it. I am really surprised by this seemingly random announcement, but it is a welcome one.

I’m kinda surprised they are planning to remove the research requirements for level 41-50, but it’s a welcome one. Although I do like a challenge, just like you said I also hate the GBL tasks so I am glad they are at least gone until level 70 now (which I will probably never reach, anyway). I did prepare for a few upcoming levels, but I guess I can ignore that now.

I do hope their XP rebalancing works out well though. I would have preferred more challenging tasks over endless XP grind but this balancing could help if done well. Knowing Niantic, probably not, but I will wait to see it myself first.

There is no help for discobot, and none of discobot’s answers is helpful.

Hi! To find out what I can do, say @discobot display help.

My new goal is to reach level 50 before 15th October. I need to get 5,450,000 XP.

I need ten times as much
That’s not going to happen, not with my final year of uni beginning

I am not even going to try.

I’m going to try - and see where it takes me.

I, for one, am very glad they changed the tasks for Kangaskhan timed resarch. I couldn’t complete the Farfetch’d one because I didn’t have the right berries.

Use 10 razzberries + 10 pinap berries + 10 nanab berries to catch pokemon… I fell very short on the nanab berries as I just couldn’t get hold of them, not through pokestops, gifts or buddy presents (I usually get so many here). There are days when I accumulate them out of not using them, but being on a short stock + bad luck spinning pokestops and the like = disaster.

I guess I’ll only have the variant farfetch’d for now.

They must have seen this was absurd (to make it so “specific” to catch with the berries) because they changed it for Kangaskhan. Now it’s just catching pokemon + earning hearts with your buddy + hatching 1 egg (hey, see how it doesn’t specify which egg to hatch? brilliant! Hopefully I won’t give them any nasty ideas here or we’ll have to hatch 10km… :grinning:).

Anyway, maybe this belongs in the rant section, but I just wanted to share how I’m very close to registering my first dinosaur kangaroo! (that’s how I see the pokemon).

And I sure was relieved to see the change now as I am still struggling to get the pink berries!

I’m also appreciating this event to “harvest” candy for the kanto starters, those are some of my favourites and can’t have enough of them.

I’m trying to get Frosmoth, but I have only 36 Snom-candies of the 400 needed.

Apart of Special candies or walking 1500 kilometers, any other idea how to get them?

Hatching snom

Since the first appearance I hane not seen any.

But why evolve snom? Snom perfect the way snom is

Just finished off a Palkia Origin and had the catch-success screen tell me the Palkia dropped a Rare Candy XL when caught. I thought that was pretty neat.
