It’s a shame what they do to us with this values.
A hard work to find 146 rockruff, like legendaries or mythical, they could at least put them
all in the above 90 category.
Rockripoff is getting a bit ridiculous now.
0/190 wtf
be more pacient, 44 raids in two days isn’t good for health
Did 4 more when the day started, with no shiny, but one 96. Did 4 more during lunch, getting 73, 76, 78, and 82, but no shiny. Is this a little dog? Or a little dogpoop? Every futile raid makes it harder to tell the difference.
[And an additional four pieces of Rockruff-shaped piles of after lunch… smh]
I did plan to give Pokemon GO a try again next week but then they announced the next event’s wild spawns and now instead I’m genuinely considering just deleting the game. I don’t know what Niantic is thinking but these events are so shit nowadays, I’m totally done with this game. At least my break will definitely last a few more months.
Edit: of course I get a Shiny Taillow five minutes after ranking here. Won’t work, Niantic. Still skipping the next two months.
Edit 2: Niantic just announced Raid Hours, Spotlight Hours, Research Breakthrough and the events. May is definitely a skipper for me.
You aren’t kidding about May being junk, @Jormdeworm … And the way they are systematically undoing the features they added to make the game playable during the lockdowns, it’s like they are DARING us to quit.
Don’t push it, Niantic.
I think they know they have the majority hooked on the game and while they vent their displeasure as the weeks/months role on the amount that actually quit is a drop in the ocean that makes no ripple against the newbies that drop some coin on the game.
The big question is with those that quit is. Are they free play or occasional spenders or are they whales that drop serious coin? I suspect most are free play and occasional spenders.
May’s content looks truly awful.
It seems only about 20% of new content comes from free play these days. The rest is locked behind Pay Events.
I think @Jormdeworm has the right idea in taking a break. I wish I had the sense to do the same.
I think it started in November last year when they made the events so bad that I actually didn’t want to play and that pattern has from then on continued to the point where I’m only doing special events since I think halfway through December. I was hoping they’d actually have something cool for May so I could maybe pick it up again but it doesn’t seem like that.
For the second time I’ve forgotten to get a heart for my buddy and reset the 30 days in row Quest .
First time was 15 days now this time I was 24-25 days and nearing the end
Up to now it was the uggliest quest, still not understand the idea behind.
Despite raiding every raid that I could, and I did some with my alt account, I just couldn’t find shiny Kangaskhan! And my friend got one in the first raid! I have such a bad luck with shinies from raids, it’s so frustrating!
You think you have bad luck?
I raise your 0/217 on Rockripoff.
I don’t raid as much as you, but I really have bad luck with shinies from raids. My alt account has more luck, because it happened a few times that it got a shiny in the first raid (dex entry even) or the second. It also has a shundo and my main doesn’t. So we both have bad luck with shinies from raids in our own ways. Here are all my shinies that I got from raids so far:
Still yet to get a Shiny Latias. There’s no way I’m doing 233 of those like the stupid wolf cub.
I’ve managed to pick up 2x Latios adding to what I already had.
Will Tier 5 raids be suppressed every time a Legendary is the Mega? There’s not much Stardust in the meta-irrelevant T3 and T1 raids, with crappy shiny odds and even less satisfaction.
The mind-numbingly AWFUL shiny odds for the wolf cub continue. 430 raids between my main and alt, with 3 shiny total. I don’t recall ever seeing one in the wild, nor have I seen one as a raid boss on a gym that I could reach with a local pass. So none were free raid passes.
Edit: Somebody posted a meme that pokes fun at part of the damage that Niantic has been doing to their own game:
I purchased theGoFest ticket last night.
When you think of GoFest, catching Shiny instantly comes to mind does it not?
Not sure what to think of what happens today?
0 yes 0 f***ing Shiny for a full 8hrs play. WTF?
The entire GO Fest was a flop. I walked around for the entire 8 hours, 40km in total and I have nothing to show for it. I only have two new Shinies, and both of them are common Normal type Pokemon that have had their Shiny forms in the game for a while, and I was just unlucky enough to not have gotten them yet. I didn’t get any of the new Shinies at all, I have hardly seen any Axew Raids, they didn’t give us GO Fest themed Eggs and Field Research at all, the Shiny rate was absolutely horrible (I estimate around 1/150-200) and I got the absolute worst Shaymin I could’ve imagined. @bagguille, I think your choice of not buying the ticket was the best one. Even it this event was for free it wouldn’t really be that great.
