Well, I just got this one after completing an excruciating task (5 great curve throws in a row) and, apparently, it’s one of those with a special collection.
I had no idea, so today went very well with 2 new peculiar additions to my pokedex!

On the same day I get enough berries to evolve my Gloom into Vileplume, and register it for the first time in the pokedex, I find one in the wild! (a first sight and it was the final stretch for the berries lol)

I was lucky to get different genders, too!

Well, I’m one of the few players which not only want the complete Pokédex, but as well all genders (and if they are Hundos, more better).
Others are happy with having one for the Dex, others only the ones good for fighting… everybody has to choose how to be happy.

And I almost didn’t notice the differences when I was clearing out storage a few days ago and was getting rid of a not so good gloom (it wasn’t the one I was going to evolve) until I saw the spots were different… Well, I had to keep it then! Some differences are so small I’m pretty sure I’ve transferred some without realizing. I prefer to keep sets, too, so I was glad I got 2 in one day.
This one looks very cool and at the same time it literally comes up unexpectedly short (I should have chosen a side picture…):
I don’t know what to say about this peculiarity here, from the colours, to the teeth! It’s like a fish dressed up for a carnival parade.

I hadn’t realized I had enough candy to evolve this one, either, so I’m getting closer to a Baxcalibur! I only have 3 Frigibax in my collection, too, so it will take some time.

I evolved Elgyem today (who I kindly refer to as toothpaste because of the name) and added Beheeyem to the pokedex. I like its style!

I had read you could encounter them during daily incense, but it’s so rare there’s no point in even thinking about it. That was my way of thinking, anyway, until I kept seeing people posting their daily incense here and they’d either be spotted (having fled) or actually caught.
So I kept a secret dream of catching a legendary bird one day. There were many times I withheld activating a daily incense, until I completed the Master ball special research. There was no way the pretty bird would be running away, should I actually get to spot one!
Well, today was the day!
It was during machop’s spotlight hour. I had my phone in my jacket’s pocket, I had already caught a very good machop, was low on pokeballs, my attention wasn’t 100% there, and then there’s a buzz and I thought, should I see it? Wait for another? heh, might as well.
And what was that?! The colour was almost like an ekans, but the shape was sort of weirdly twisted. I clicked on it, and I see Articuno gloriously dancing… I could not believe it!!!
Just so you get an idea of the state of my mind at that moment, I used both a golden razberry and the Master ball. I was ecstatic and not thinking clearly and I missed it, on top of it all! I’m very glad for the animation of the masterball…
Deep in my heart I wish the first one I found had been Moltres, because that’s my favourite since I was a kid (after watching the 2nd film) but I do not get to be picky on this one. I was looking forward to seeing any of them and I’m very, very happy about it! It absolutely made my day, my week, you get the point…
Now, I am in desperate need of another Master ball…
(this is my tiny, tiny side remark on the catch - are you telling me legendary birds do not have minimum IVs but all egg hatches do?! 
it’s whatever, I love it anyway, I immediately made it my buddy, just thought that was hilarious…)
