They look so neat! Surprisingly I’ve seen Sobbles the most so far. Scorbunny was the last one I saw, I think it’s my favourite of the three but only in the first stage. I chose Grookey ultimately, because it looks cute as is, but that final evolution? Yes, please!
Just wanted to share my bit, I’m looking forward to finding all the new pokemon today! (I want that cheeky squirrel!)
I found Skwovet and wow those are some nice cheeks! I have enough berries to evolve, so far this was the best one I could find…
Then I found this average sized pumpkin! A bit of a boo, as the name suggests (

I also saw a Gabite in the wild, but it fled, unfortunately…
I also got these 2 today that I’m very happy about. I had been waiting a long time to finally have the last evolution!
(btw, is anyone having extra difficulty capturing the new starters? I’m waisting so many poke balls it’s frustrating already, especially with Sobble and Grookey, not just because they’re small, but they seem so far away I can’t get the angle right/do not hit at all…)
I was looking forward to this one and spotted it today! I think Dreepy will become one of my favourite pokemon, I didn’t know about it until this update (my last game was Sapphire and I didn’t keep up with the anime either, so most of the new pokemons I discover through this game or online, which makes all the discovering extra fun for me when I find a new one!)
It reminds me so much of Randall from Monsters inc, especially the final evolution, it’s awesome!
I also got my first evolved Espeon today, which is a welcome sight to my eevee collection.
Yes, Grookey has been a massive pain for me. It feels like the ball misses when it shouldn’t.
My first seel! I had been wanting one for so long and today, very unexpectedly, I saw it.
It was one of those times “wait, what’s that here…?” and bang! It was so close to me I almost let it pass.
I must admit I hardly ever see them anymore. And that despite the fact the majority of the Kanto Pokémon are still spawning around absolutely anywhere. Same with Shellder, I don’t even know when the last time was I found a Shellder too. And Staryu.
I honestly thought I’d have to go near the seaside or something to finally have a chance to get it… I don’t have Shellder yet either, my hope is I’ll get it through an egg, at some point. Staryu I’ve been getting through special research that I had (probably not recent ones, it usually takes me a long time to complete them) and I’m very close to having enough berries to evolve it.
Kanto wise, I keep seeing the same ones, really, so I have these holes in my collection that will take me ages to fill (I’ve seen 3 bellsprouts ever and caught 2, for example. I’ve evolved one but getting to a victreebel? not anytime soon!). I wish they’d rotate more or have different ones in certain areas…
I had my second rendezvous with Giovanni and caught Cresselia!
20 thousand stardust and 20 berries to purify? I’m not looking forward to that! (I’m still going to, of course, one day—)
(I really have to see ways to maximize stardust gains, in a not so grindy way that works for me, because I’m struggling in that regard more often than not…)
Maybe one day you have to do so, but not this bad queen, do it with a better candidate.
yes, the stats were somewhat disappointing, but still… Unless it’s through special research or an event (not raids), I probably won’t get another Cresselia… Unless I somehow fight Giovanni again and he has another?
Also I usually always purify my pokemon (unless I don’t care about them, then they just go), really more on the (weird, I know!) principle that I like helping them be freed of that shadow.
But again, this won’t be a priority…
