What a funny game is PokĆ©mon Goā¦ 
After this afternoon I have now 1003 Golden Coins, but I donāt have a Switch, and the people I know with a Switch donāt play PokĆ©mon.
And now? If, at least, I could exchange these coins for something elseā¦

Niantic should open a pawn shop for us to sell stuff back (at a discount from market value, of course) for PokƩcoins.

Mystery Box opens more frecuently during eventā¦ hahahaha
Instead of waiting 3 days it needs only 2 days. How lucky we are with Nianticā¦
The best part of the event was the random boost box they added, then took it away after like two hours. Luckily I was able to snag it, and it was probably the best box I ever bought. They must have realized how good it was.
Anybody can explain to me what you win in a research āCatch 20 PokĆ©monā and you get 15 PokĆ©Ball?
Up to now I thought that I need at least ONE ball for each catchā¦ so I will loose 5 Balls with this research?
Or do they think I will catch with or without research, so I loose lesser with this one?

I like the Pokeball reward tasks - Iām always short on balls.
I wish they were all like this and not the kind that reward berries

If youāre one of the players who always has more Stardust on hand than you can spend, then I can understand the disconnect. Iād catch the 20, with or without the 15 ball reward. So the research task just means that Iāll have 15 balls more afterwards than I would have without the research task.
For me, though, catching 20 mons is always worthwhile, for the 2K dust. (or 3K if I have used a starpiece).

Again the Mystery Boxā¦ after the second I have 1 shiny by Box, meaning a relation of 1 shiny every 62 Meltan.
Is this the estimated relation, or am I as bad with shinies as allways?
Whatās āfull oddsā again? I thought it was something like 1 in 200ā¦
Meltan is Medium rate or 1/150
Full odds is 1/500, or 1/512, or 1/450. One of those. I donāt know which though because everyone uses another rate for full odds.

Woo hoo! That means mine did pretty well. (āDidā being the operative word ā I donāt borrow tools more than 3 times; after that I need to get my ownā¦)
So I have to be happy?? A lot of work to get two shinies. Maybe the best is you get this boxes for free, but you loose one hour of your time.

Is there any way to identify which habitat is associated with a particular postcard we receive? I donāt care whether itās before we pin the postcard or after. Iāve received several gifts from a friend in Qatar, which by the map should give a Sandstorm card, and every time the Sandstorm count in my Vivillon medals display has remained unchanged (I thought there might be locations not correctly paired with habitat, but the gifts were from different PokĆ©stops in Qatar)ā¦
Makes me wonder if that association between gift location and vivillon habitat is sometimes just pseudo-random.
