Been sending PokeStop nominations to Niantic closer to home. Areas that are open to public. They keep refusing.
The problem are the volunteers which valuate the nominations. I’ve seen too much garbage explanations why to reject them.
In my case it’s always because the locations are deemed farmland. Sadly no pokestops in walking distance for me. Even my buddy pokemon will not get gifts for me because they are too far away.

If the nominations are on private property that’s a valid reason for rejection. If it’s public access land/parks/roads/tracks then rejecting nominations is not a valid reason but happen too often unfortunately.
They claim its farm land but there is public access to these locations.
A question, how are you going on with the Apex-research? I have 12/30 days gain a heart with your buddy.

Not rushing though - these one-off special Pokes usually deliver a metaphorical whack-to-the-goolies with their spectacularly low IVs.

18/30, I almost forgot it yesterday.
Yeah, it’s annoying how stupid the reasons they always give are. But I’d keep nominating it if it is a valuable Wayspot, at some point it will get accepted.
I have 27 of 100 researches complete. Thankfully I’ve been able to complete daily research tasks.
Looks like I’ll have to do those 18 days again because it forces me to update the game but the update doesn’t work for some reason.

what are you actually submitting as waypoint? a patch of grass of some actual item of interest?
Oil tanks that have been used for the past three generations to store fresh oil pumped by a oil company we’ve been leasing to. It is even within range of a public road. I thought it might have some historic significance.
Well, it’s 4:30pm in the UK and in half-an-hour’s time the April Fools’ Event will begin.
I’m really hoping to catch a shiny ditto - or shitto as I like to call it.
Who knows, I could get really lucky and snaffle a shundo… or sh-shitto as I’m absolutely certain it ought to be called

That houndour looks cool
I still wouldn’t want to run into it in a dark ally. Ultra shadow houndour would not be pleasant.
