Seems like Honedge is just the latest wasteful shiny-chase raid novelty, in the manner of Rockruff.
And we’ve already had special no-escape balls (2 different kinds, I think). Why not just reuse one of those? Do we really need another kind?

You know something I’d also enjoy if they added it to the game as an option: music!
I really liked this musical event we’ve just had in the game, with a special soundtrack in specific hours. It was nice to listen to something different while I went for a walk. The game felt more alive to me.
I wish they added specific music we could listen to while we played, something we could toggle on or off, if we felt like it. Maybe just for special days like community days or other events. I think this would be nice!
Was the blue pooch part of Rockruff’s debut? Then again, was rockruff released in the wild before it was confined to raids? I guess the parallels are limited.
Both have an inexplicable popularity and both are egregiously meta-irrelevant.
I had no idea Pikachu was an option, in the beginning, even if a bit hidden. I don’t really remember what my choice was, I think it might have been charmander, but I can’t be sure anymore. If it’s not my current best charizard, it got lost (transferred) ages ago when I didn’t pay much attention to anything. I’d have liked to have kept the first buddy, but oh well…
My starter was Pikachu and I still have him.
Small question;
When looking up regional pokemon, I have a hard time finding any list with Pokemon of gen 4 and later. Are there any I need to keep my eyes open for in:
I remember that those had some special stuff these days but I can’t remember which ones
There’s Klefki in France. Also a Furfrou form ‘La Reine’ I think. Not sure if there’s anything remarkable in Spain or Portugal actually.
Also worth mentioning: Niantic still hasn’t fixed half of the regionals not spawning. It was fixed for a couple days and then they all vanished again and still haven’t been seen since. I don’t think Klefki is affected though. I know that at least Oricorio, Flabébé and Basculin are, but there might be more.
Spain is crossed by the Greewich-line, and so both colors of Basculin are available in Spain, and not shure but I think the two types of Frillish as well. And I think in it’s days we had a special type of the black bulls, but now I don’t believe they are available.
They should be, but they have been turned off on accident since June. Niantic has acknowledged it, but did nothing to fix it.

Has anyone found Toedscool? I went yesterday to a forest and a grassy area by my town and spent there more than 2 hours, used incense and a mossy lure module and I couldn’t find one. 
Seen them on the radar nearby, but wasn’t bothered enough to actually get them.
Got two of them an hour ago so they are but not very frecuent.
