Alleged HoOh Leak From Niantic For December, But it uses this Horrible EX system. It’s going to kill the game

Remember, it’s alleged

Great partners in GO Hub we’re not able to capture Mewtwo and Ho-Oh any time in the future.

The EX system is good in as much as it prevents spoofing and it rewards active players. When 45 of 90 active players in my community get gone it seems like a reasonable system. It’s also nice to have a high catch rate and to have some level of exclusivity to the best Pokémon in the game. To some degree better or at least more active players should be able to achieve things others don’t. Finally it’s still in the development stages so give things time to firm up before crying out that the sky is falling.

@Thorend, how does the EX Raid prevent Spoofers? I’m all for anything that stops their advantage/cheating but can’t get my head around how the EX Raid stops them?

@Thorend I get your point, but again the only thing Niantic cares about is profit. They’re just rewarding players from the most money-spending countries/regions. To players who come from Africa, Middle-East, South America they even didn’t have any Ex raids held in the test. It’s already October, not too far from December, I still not seeing Niantic will release Ex raids worldwide very soon. That’s not about legit players, active players and Pokemon’s home country, in fact the involvement in Pokemon GO playerbase is incredibly low. I’ve created a poll on ‘How many legendaries have you got until now’ and only 2 out of 7 have got all legendaries which have already released (including Mewtwo). @leonk98 and @bagguille don’t even have one in their pokebox. All are because of the imperfect raid system. Rural players, HongKongers, and players who live in ‘isolated region’ can’t benefit from Ex raids. When the handful, lucky players are capturing Ex raid boss, rest of the Pokemon GO players are just standing still to request for Ex raids, this is not what I want to see in Pokemon GO.

@NotanotherKangaskhan it won’t make it impossible to spoof you will have to do a raid at the location of the EX Raid to get a pass, so spoofers will not be able to randomly join like they can with regular raids.

@Yoshi to my point, the EX Raid system is not out of the testing phase yet. Of course they will take care of the biggest customer base first, but Be patient, the rest of the world will have it soon enough.

Niantic’s image is not great at all. They always working below our expectations.

‘Tests’ shouldn’t be such a long period of time. It’s a month after the first test of Ex raid. When time pass by, The freshness of Ex raid test is diminishing. Players over the world have been trying to be patient in the previous month, that’s enough to test for Ex raids.

His long did it take for the new sightings/nearby to be released? Testing for things like this need to be thorough

I would rather have it work then have it now

Now people are confused by the Ex raid test. When the news of Ho-Oh arouse discussions in the public, people think that Mewtwo is only for ‘Ex raid test’. When the test ends, we’re not able to capture Mewtwo anymore. Although I know this is not the truth, but how could Niantic create troubles by unfounded ravings again! Niantic should bear their faults!

Yeah Castform is able to be released with its additional forms.

@Yoshi I don’t understand how people can get confuse by that. The reddit post was pretty straight forward

Julian: So we have to wait for over a Year for mewtwo, then only a few people in the big cities get him and then he dissapears again. F*cking amazing idea Niantic! (Found in the news of Ho-oh via Go Hub) https://pokemongohub.net/post/breaking-news/possible-leak-ho-oh-ex-raid-test-start-december/

Why do you think he will disappear? They have not given any timeline for how long Mewtwo will be available

murko69: Mewtwo was almost ridiculously simple to catch once it was down. We were about 40-45 people on sight, divided on three groups and I think only 1 or 2 users actually missed him.Hopefully it will come back in some way in the future even if Ho-Oh is the next Ex-raid. The first legendary birds have been sighted in the Safari events so my guess is that missed EX- and/or Legendary ones will get more chances to be caught in special events during next year (or even this) (found in v0.77.1 PAL Mine report via Go hub) https://pokemongohub.net/post/breaking-news/v0-77-1-apk-mine-report-gen-iii-forms-added-huge-bug-fixes/

This is not my thought. I’m just proving there’re some players who think Mewtwo is going to be replaced by Ho-Oh.

Sorry but if you check Twitter or LINE, you will see that a lot of Japanese are talking about it. Saying the Mewtwo EX raid field-test is over and that from December Ho-Oh EX Raid will start.
So if nobody in Japan really trusted this mail as you wrote, nobody in Japan would have spread this news on Twitter & LINE.

But it’s right that all the Pokemon GO site, Blog, … that put this news, clearly wrote that this info hasn’t been confirmed by Niantic Japan. Coz like Pokemonghub also wrote, they’ve reached out to Niantic Japan for further confirmation and clarification, but they haven’t got any reply yet.

So this news can be true or fake. https://pokemongohub.net/post/breaking-news/possible-leak-ho-oh-ex-raid-test-start-december/
