Honest thoughts on Premier Balls?

Personally, their design is so lazy. Grab most basic Pokeball, paint it white, and you have brand new Pokeball! cough cough they ruined raids in PoGo cough

It’s Game Freak’s design. It was a freebie on the handheld games when you buy 10 Pokeballs. In my opinion, it should’ve been the Cherish Ball that’s used especially on T5 and EX raids

“The Premier Ball (プレミアボール Premier Ball) was created for a special event. According to the official Pokémon Colosseum game guide, it has the same catch rate as a regular Poké Ball, but “it looks cooler”. It has basically no other purpose except for giving an extra ball when buying 10 of them, so it’s a free Poké Ball but it has a different design.”

So its actually quite clever. You cant use poké balls, great balls or ultra balls for raids, cause its confusing. There is alot of other balls in existence in the games, but they all serve a special purpose. Since the premier ball has the same stats a pokéball has, its the best choice for raids.

So basically they thinked that catching special pokemon with most basic pokeball is just fine, but to make us think that this is completely different ball, they just painted it white? Wow. (POKEMON COMPANY/GAME FREAK EXPOSED)

Not really. Its no secret the premier ball is the same as a normal pokeball.

So we catching Mewtwo and other Legendaries with a trash BASIC recolored POKEBALL that isn’t equivalent to an ultra ball. We are some serious professionals.

They gave us golden raspberry to help give us an improved chance of catching. If one looks at the published info on catch rate for golden raspberry/curved balls/great throw it is actually fairly high, especially when you consider how many attempts you get each time. Legendary Catch Rate

Yea, Golden Razz helps quite lot, but i still think that it’s weird to catch legendaries with garbage balls
