Take a look to this screen shot from 20 of april 2017… Y don’t see a difference

They changed some gen 1 sprites, yes. Also Lapras’s sprite. Can’t remember when.
Perhaps after the April Fools or with the Kanto event.

@bagguille they didn’t change the sprites of the Pokémon themself, like what you screenshotted I mean. The difference is: It has become a little bit darker after the sprite change.

They changed the sprites of most Pokemon, but the models (3d) are the same as always (since they are made out of the games’ models anyways)

My old charmander looks different the the ones caught in community day the old one was skinnier.
