Reading the article, I thought there’s another point of view. Something I have seen a lot of times in merchandising. Enterprises, which are selling an article, until the gains stagnate or are lesser than the costs, and instead of improving it, they start a new article.
In our case… introducing new generations of mons to satisfy the players who don’t want to change. And on the other hand starting Harry Potter to catch the players which have lost interest. Why inventing new things, if you can gain the same, only changing the image?
