Will niantic allow great balls and ultra balls to catch pokemon with pokemon go plus and pokeball plus in the future

I do not know, they would have to rework the entire GO Plus and Pokeball Plus in order to do that.

I hope they do this is what stops me from buying one as most of the time I have no Pokeballs just great and Ultras
Haven’t herd any news that this will ever be an option but like many others hope it does one day.
Surely it wouldn’t be that hard to make it just start throwing Blues Balls if you’ve run out of Reds or ultimately be able to set which ball you want it to throw.

You never know how them company’s work
Today you can choose in the app, if you want to catch and spin stops, or just spin, or just catch.
I dont think it would be imposible to make another option to choose the kind of pokeballs you want to use.
No need to rework the plus devices, just app programming.
