Last one. All this together should prove i gave water toght evidence and chose not to help even though they stole it in the first place
Considering the fact i have proof im in the right, they are barely reading and reply with standard mails every time and even admitting wont gonna do anything about the fact that something of this big magnitude can and will happen and yet could but choose not to improve the mechanics this can be reversed. Are all those things actually legal, even for a big company like niantic? Its basicly saying we took your stuff, we can give it back but we choose not to. Sounds illegal imo but im no judge, any1 know more about that?
You would need to read all the fine print T&C’s in detail which I’ll bet most did not when they signed up to play the game (myself included).
I’m just guessing that there might be something about tech glitches that absolves them of responsibility.
I’ll play devils advocate and put my Niantic Hat on for a bit (I feel dirty now).
Because you never claimed items before the time limit they weren’t in your possession hence they can’t be stolen.
I’ll take the dirty hat of now.
Not sure what else to say. A very unfortunate set of events that took time off your clock to get it all done.
Fair enough
Just to clarify in case needed, the quest would have been completed at 19:58, meaning i should have rightfully got it. However the bug they threw denied that
And for the rest of it, seems i cant do much about it then. Well at least the topic exist now for future players to show em how far they are willijg to go, destroying 3 months of a players work for only a chamce that player may buy a ticket
Thx 4 the replies💪
Pretty much I’m pretty sure everything in GO is legally Niantic’s playground. I think they can wipe your account and not recompense you because technically all the things in the game have no official value. Even if you’ve put money in the game you’ve put it into things that can’t be transferred back into money. I could be totally wrong and I’m not happy if I’m right, but I think that’s how it works when it comes to video games. It’s not nice at all what they’re doing, but I think it is legal. Tell me, how much time did messaging niantic take?
Well, I know tthat I’m taking a nap very nice. All the time, the money, the energy I’m using in this game is what? Usefull? useless?
It’s a problem of a decision very personally… I can’t know how you live. For me it’s a very dificily decision every time I decide to use money in the game.
Normally I decide in not to do so, it doesn’t worse. But sometimes I amount my level of coins, just beause I thing it’s the moment…
Well, I’m developing a database of all catches I have done in all of my accounts just fot to be shure to solve them for the moment after Niantiic decide to destroy all our work.
Thx r the reply bro
Tbh i dont remember the exact time but have an estimate, if only counting the time needed to collect and gather all the evidence, type everything out the and put it in a way thats understandable yet solid and waterproof i think about 6 hours in total, quite a lot for just posting something in a chat but still nothing compared to everything needed to get all quests done.
Yet apparently that doesnt matter to them cuz of the 5 minutes THEY will lose by reading my reply and solve it. But i also realise i cant do anything more then this and at least this topic is im the open now to warn every1 and public shame them, but i starting to think its a niantic kink to get public shamed cuz they kinda keep asking for it so i might actually do them a favor:rofl:
Yeah I don’t spend money on the game very often, I’ll usually buy the global GO Tour and Fest ticket but that’s pretty much it.
Oh man. I’m so sorry that took so long! Thanks for letting us know that niantic is not very reliable in those “help” threads. Did you end up buying the research that gives a masterball at the end?
Thx bro appreciate the comment, good to see some other nice players care even though they wont
But no didnt but the thing, ik even with my own playrules i could have said i earned it anyway and so i wont break my own rules but still feels more or less as an excuse and i didnt wanted to reward them by giving in and reward them money for pulling shit on ppl like that😅
Weird question maybe, but also posted 2 larger replies between first and last one today, but they have a message they need to get checked by a mod for some reason? Is that common here?
Yes and no, I’m a Moderator and I find some responses in the place of control. But once you are habitual the system doesn’t cuestion your responses.
But as well I have to say that it is not our work to distinguish the responses… as it is in our days, there’s a “AI” behind which decides…
Ty 2u2 for the reply
I get you and fully agree generally speaking, the time consumed and money involved may be considered useful and or useless depending how ublook at it. I consider it useful cuz we play cuz we love the game after all and imo doing things you like is defenitely worth money if that improves the fun in any way.
Only my reason is kinda different then most. Not cuz its mot worth it imo, not even cuz of the shot they pulled, but completely cuz its more like a different playing style to me . In a way like everything you did is earned by your harr work, not by paying for it. For example i also never trade a pokemon i havent catched myself first including regionals and defenitely not like spoofing, or catch and hatch gear etc. And yet again if i see another trainer that does like all that i wont mind for a second bcause its fun for them to do which makes it all good imo. All coming from the same concept why i dont like to pay haha
Nice plan but sad thing is, if that happens dont think your entire database will work for them, i pretty much gave them a bulletproof list of evidence that it is a bug and without it i would copleted the quest 100% and yet they choose to ignore the problem knowing full well im telling the truth
But that said respect for making an entire database of all that bro💪
Another fun fact to add to these 2 replies:
I play 5 daily games in total pokemon go being 1 of em. The others are brawlstars, monster hunter now, dragon quest walk and evony
- Dqw is also an ar game but actually meant for japan only, its downloadable via an alternative app but even when downloaded you miss out on massive amounts of content, think pokemon go but without stops, raids and pvp (sounds boring iknow), but even considering that i still prefer not to spoof despite that game has all reason to do so
- mhn is also a niantic game and yea ik im helping niantic to post this haha, but still its a dam good game and give it a year tp develop and i probably choose it even over pogo assuming equal playerbase. Rn im the only idiot stubborn enough to play a game no one else here does hahah
- brawlstars is a game from supercell, which is kinda my main from all these mains but pogo is coming close, and u seen my time involved and research in the meta and stuff so that saying something at least haha. But even though rn supercell is getting slightly more to the paying side, its imo one of the best developers without a single doubt, and ofc uses microtransactions as they should or we could eben play it just like pogo, but you can just see they are passionate about it and value their players over the money grubbing easily
- evony the absolute opposite tbh, the whole ge design is pretty much made to milk as much money out of players as they possibly could. I would consider niantic somewhere in between cuz its still not p2w but the ppl dealimg woth customers are terrible with iq if 10 and eq of -999, as for evony, another few details are whales are generally looked the other way when breaking actual rules and fixing bugs isnt on their to do list until its actually statistically more beneficial for their wallet to fix it. Sounds all horrible rigjt so u may ask why play it? Well its not all bad generally players are well compensated with well known bugs so at least they do something even if its probably in their best interest. And even though i didnt expect to even like it i got surprised to be hooked haha, last weeks however playin it lot less cuz lacking of time (pretty much the same issue from topic post why time is that hard to get and yet still did)
Now kijda long post, and lijed to share these background stories anyway but the point i wanted to make is as u see i play games with extremly differnt player friendly companies, and yet none of them i ever payed a cent for. Point i like to make is niantic apparently already branded me as useless for not paying. But they dont see that being passionate abput a game is also helping them indirectly cus they tell friends and they might tell theirs and some of em probably pays money and not paying doesnt have to mean youre not caring enough, in my way of playing its even confirming it😁
