So I finally completed all the tasks for celebi to show up. It required my phone to be in ar mode (has never worked on my phone) and it started the encounter. Now usually my phone will just shut off ar mode with no problem and allow me to catch the pokemon normally. This time it didn’t work. All that shows up are my regular pokeballs, no other balls and no berries. Something is wrong and the pokeballs won’t even throw correctly. If I run from celebi or restart the game will I still be able to catch it or am I doomed to waste throwing every regular pokeball I own?
Edit: Found a fix by denying camera permissions. Didn’t realize you could only catch celebi with pokeballs.
