Always favorite a shiny. Favorites can’t be transferred.

But the thing is RIGHT AFTER you catch it, you might wan to appraise it for its IV, some shinies are hard to tell, especially under the sun.

If You are unsure, favorite, check it’s iv’s, if bad unfavorite.
