This fixes frame drops in all of Pokémon Go for Android users. Give it a shot!

  1. Open your device’s Settings.
  2. Search for About Device or Phone and tap on Software Information.
  3. Tap on Version Number (Build Number) 7 times.
  4. Back out to Settings and Search for Developer Settings/Options and search for Graphics Driver.
  5. Search for Pokémon Go and turn on System Graphics Driver.
  6. Back out to Developer Settings/Options and Search for Background Process Limit and select no.
  7. Back out to Settings, search for Developer Settings/Options, and turn it off.
  8. This should resolve the frame drop issue.

Maybe first of all, anybody can tell me what a frame drop is?
Because the instructions smell bad. At least the first part is the same as to you have to do to “Root” a phone.

Basically, it’s clipping that causes the game to stutter both animations and sound files that cause instability. Here’s an example that you can hear and see.

Ok, thanks for explain. But no, I will not apply this fix.
After all, I play without any sound, maybe I have this drops, but I don’t notice them.

If you have an Android, you definitely get affected with the sound on or not.

One of many problems which affects being able to reliably count moves.

The other problem which I encounter more often is people just down and out abusing glitches or using multiple devices to get double and triple charged attacks.

That happens very frequently above Veteran which 2.4 Cr and higher.

They never ban any of the people that bot and abuse bugs on their way to legend.

There was an article I posted just the other day about the first player to get legend this season did it abusing a bug and openly admitted to it just in an attempt to get Niantic attention.

This game is about making as much money as they can with little to no overhead or maintenance.

Niantic is just a disgustingly greedy company.
