Probably just go back to wow and start playing competitively again.
Get glad push rating and drop this dog log of a game until they fix the plethora of problems they have.
It’s more frustrating than fun at this point.
Don’t know whty, but I have the sensation that the bad luck is in persecution of you.
I have the three evolution stages of this bad dog, and I had no problem to get the candies. So, or the game is tremeduous full of hazardly fails, or it’s a personal problem of you. But to me it doesn’t do this errors.

I have zygarde complete form and I’ve had it for a while.
In my previous conversation I had mentioned I think they shadow nerfed the ability to get xl candies by walking your buddy and I stand by that statement.
And I cannot confirm it
That’s why it’s called a shadow nerf.
Gaming company’s are notorious for doing it.
Even if it can’t be confirmed, evidence should support it. Or it would be more of an imagined nerf.

I could share pictures not that it would mean anything because you could say that they’re irrelevant because they aren’t time stamped etc
I’m not investigating or anything like that, just pointing out a principle. I only winced at the term “shadow”, which implies hidden. And a nerf could be spotted from statistical analysis. If it can be spotted, it’s not hidden.

In my opinion, it’s not that we don’t believe that you haven’t received XL the past four times that you’ve received normal candy (four is the most that 40km could give you, even when you use a Poffin), we are just pointing out that that could happen due to unlucky RNG here and there, and doesn’t necessarily mean that Niantic has “shadow nerfed” anything.

If it’s unlucky RNG they need to change how that works because it’s not worth having a legendary buddy if it’s like that.
My Zygarde is level 47 so I’ve been working on it for a good amount of time and that’s just extremely lame.

I’ll be dragging my shiny rampardos around as a buddy for over a year before we accumulate enough cranidos candy xl to push it to level 50. At least they haven’t crippled the gifts-for-pokestop-spins feature again. Wasting hours, covering half of town, chasing a gift to send to a friend is what brought me closest to quitting the game in disgust, so far.
