And look in our shiny-tables. There is no app or web which can help you. For Hundos there are a lot of local groups which advice when they see one, and you can run to catch it.
This is my one of my biggest issues with the game at the moment. In this picture can be seen one if my pedestrian bridge nominations with probably the most horrible picture ever got accepted where they be nitpicky for a picture that’s actually great. I did explain it’s almost impossible to make a great picture of that bridge without people or vehicles on it, though.
Notice the date it got nominated too. 10th of September. The bottom nomination that can be seen in the picture has been in voting since at least 15th AUGUST and still hasn’t returned. That isn’t the only nomination though. I had about 7 nominations that took over a month this time and 3 of them still haven’t come back. The middle nomination also got accepted a few days ago only. I even emailed Niantic about it and they didn’t even reply. The best part of it that pedestrian bridge is actually in a Stop dense area whereas the one yet to even return is not.
Niantic Wayfarer just needs a complete rework. the current system is the biggest trash ever. Also it’s surprising they didn’t reject a pedestrian bridge for once especially with such a bad picture.
Sounds like a bunch. I hope they get some closure soon.
Do the reviewers hassle you over the proximity to other stops? There are a couple of places I’d love to see a stop, but not for lack of nearby stops. (I’m still not quite sure that my reason for wanting new stops there isn’t just to give me another spin nearby, though… so I haven’t even taken step 1 to request 'em.)
I’ll just start my whinge by saying I really don’t like costume Pokémon apart from the electric mouse.
Due to my useless Trainer’s ability to catch Shiny normally I seem to do well by not getting costume Shiny every event which makes me happy. This event is a different matter. So far 2x Shiny Kirlia and 1x Shiny Croagunk along with a non Shiny 100% Croagunk which makes me not happy. My once best friend no long plays so Trading them away is not an option.
Really the costumed Pokémon augment my need of space without giving something really new. In my case nearly allways doubled, because I like to have both gender of all.
Shinies… better not to mention, no chance to get them.
But about trading, we could come to a resolution. Write me a personal note…
That the next community day is exactly during JOTA/JOTI… meaning I probably only am able to have 10 litwick encounters for the entire community day

The costume Shiny can go to the Professor, there is no problem.
Whoever thought of this event needs to be fired. All wild spawns are uninteresting Community Day Pokemon and Tynamo which has been featured in events way too often, no new Shiny release, I’m forced to evolve my 2* Cosmog that doesn’t even show an evolve button, they say trading challenge but you need to evolve, Field Research and Special Research are both absolute garbage, and so are the collection challenges and the boxes. At least before this event started I was able to get a free Incubator by buying three remote passes and an Incubator for the price of three remote passes, but now we get boxes that aren’t really worth it at all. What a ridiculous event. If my account gets banned for getting too many false strikes on Wayfarer this week I’d even thank them.
Event? Glad I read your vent here, because I hadn’t noticed the event. Now that I look, I’m just as nonplussed as you by it. Not only is there no new shiny release; but some mons whose shiny has already been released are featured in this – but NOT their shiny form. That seems arbitrary, punitive, and downright petty.

The event after is just as ridiculous just purely for its wild spawns. The spawns are just a summary of the past few events basically. The only two interesting spawns are Chinchou for its shiny boost and Alolan Vulpix. Helioptile, Togedemaru, Litwick, Pikachu, Magnemite, Dedenne. All not appreciated.
Guess I’ll try to harvest some Litwick Candy; I have a few Chandelure still needing some level-up action. And whatever Stardust and Rare Candy can be had will be worthwhile.
Regarding the next Event - Festival of Shite…

All of us might do well to keep in perspective that there are plenty of players out there who have never even come close to that shiny that we’re totally sick of by now. One trainer having 0 and another having 20 is pretty common. (I’ve still never even seen a shiny Chinchou…)
On this particular case I do agree that the Shiny Chinchou isn’t really an issue even though I don’t need one at all, but for events like the ongoing one, I do think Niantic needs to take into consideration there are also players who don’t care for all those useless spawns. That’s one thing they really can’t seem to learn. For the next event, same thing really.
Let me explain a little why the inclusion of “boosted rates” shiny chinchou has me so cheesed off.
Its original release was at the Safari Zone: Liverpool Event. The only event that has ever taken place in the UK - and subsequently the only event I have ever attended in person.
So why boost the rates of this particular Pokémon now? - it’s like a slap in the face for those of us that paid to support Niantic at a time when in-person events were still banned in most countries due to Covid.
There have been countless other Safari Zones in the United States, Japan, South Korea, Germany, Spain, Singapore, Taipei and elsewhere - each with their own exclusive shiny release - yet none of these shinies have been ‘boosted’ at later events.
I want Combee, I want Spritzee, I want Swirlix, I want Corphish, I want equivalence and I want to be treated fairly.
While they persist with regionals locked to zones instead of making them traveler’s that rotate through the zones at some form of frequency fairly is not a word Nianshit consider for the playing community.
The whole game has been about giving away stuff at a later stage slapping everyone that worked hard at it much earlier.
I accepted that a long time ago and hence why I don’t have FOMO issues playing the game. It’s worse when they give away what people paid for earlier 
That’s exactly why I refuse to pay for a single thing. I have only participated in GO Fest events and Region Tour events because I thought they were fun, but not because I really wanted something especially because in the end I keep only getting the things I did not need.
