I have no special aware of eggs, my incubator is all time working.
Maybe when the event has finished I have time to look what outcome I got.
You get them randomly from pokestops either way (10km) and, although the pokemon itself is not new, they have shiny debuts, this way is more correct.
Ah, that’s more interesting, and more easy to control
No, all shinies from the last weeks I have caught in the wild.
I got all final evolutions after the last event, my favourite being Serperior! (Pokemon TCG has some influence in it, as the beautiful card made me really like this pokemon…)
Take a look to the Emboar shiny, very nice as well.
oh yes, I love that blue fire! But no shiny tepig for me, yet…
Patience, it will come…
My 2 new additions after community day:
I also found this Mamoswine in the wild yesterday and, keeping up with the tradition for me, it has absolutely horrible stats, not even 1 star. I’m certain it must have lost its way from the herd, although it seems very glad!
I still want to evolve my almost perfect Piloswine, but it was a very nice surprise and a good register to have!
I cannot believe I managed to catch Mesprit. I hardly ever check the pokemon radar, but I did this time because I wanted to see if there was any showcase going on in the area I was at. I had an appointment today in the morning, so it’s not my usual “playground”, which just adds to the randomness of the find. Well, it was + - 2 km away from me, so I started walking as fast as I could, worried that it would run before I got there.
Fortunately for me it was chilling near some pink frillish and, after 4 or 5 golden razz berries and ultraballs, I caught it! (I researched it on the way there, if it could flee, because I’m saving the masterball for a shiny bird - if I run out of pokeballs - or moltres and I didn’t want to spend it needlessly!)
The bad part here? I noticed my pokedex says “seen 2 caught 1”… so I guess at some point in time it must have appeared in the wild near me and I didn’t catch it?! I really have no memory of this.
So, after this very grumpy Mesprit we have…
Mew!!! I didn’t realize I’d be completing the research today (and only found out the reward was actually Mew a couple of months ago…).
I really love this pokemon and it just looks so cute! I have wonderful memories of watching the first pokemon film as a kid, so to have this now in my pokedex is so amazing.
So, I caught 2 sort of unexpected legendaries/mythical in one day! Mesprit made me really work for it, with all that walking and trying to get there in time, besides all the good luck involved (right place, right time!).
The catch screen with Mew was also really enjoyable with the pokemon turning sort of transparent, that was neat!
All in all, a very rewarding morning, in which I had, very unexpectedly, great fun!
I find it very funny that Chikorita is right there next to Mew’s register…
Mew’s the last Kanto mon, which is naturally next to the first mon from Johto. Would you mind sharing with me what’s funny about it? I’m not criticizing, but genuinely curious.
It’s just that Mew is a mythical pokemon and very calm and smooth in nature, almost babylike, while Chikorita, not being legendary or anything, is the feisty diva one full of personality. I wouldn’t think it as funny if it were Totodile or Cyndaquil, for example, I probably wouldn’t even think twice about it, but the contrast here is funny to me.
I know it’s the pokemon that naturally follows the order in the pokedex, but seeing it in this pic among the likes of Zapdos, Moltres (shadow), etc., and if I had Mewtwo, as well… I just thought it was peculiar, nothing against chikorita, I really liked her in the anime. In the game I went with Totodile!
Things not really noticed by ones like me who have no background with the game prior to 2017. Never played one of the other versions of the game and saw none of the shows or movies. And so I appreciate the insights.
