Not easy unless your doing a ton of Raids to get any Legendary/Mythical to L50 (Melmetal being the exception)

I need some opinions
I have a 98 IV shiny shadow articuno that i could grind on to max out, a hundo mega kangaskhan which I’ve found ridiculously useful in raids, or a high IV groudon with precipice blades and fire blast charge attacks already… which should i finish first?

Hard to go wrong with any of those; but I might go for the Groudon, especially if it were primal-evolved at least once.
In that case I’d max the Groudon.
This has taken what seems to be a long time to get here walking as buddy, dropping every Rare and Rare XL Candy I picked up along the way. I don’t Raid much these days which made it longer.
Now I have to decide what my Rare and Rare XL Candy goes into next.

After six months of frustrating efforts to get the candy xl for the final 2 power-ups, several T5 raids have made up the remaining difference. Now main and alt have a maxed Kartana to spearhead their grass type attacks. Alt’s:

I greatly disliked Kartana, initially. The way its target is about 1 pixel at “excellent” still annoys the hell out of me, for one thing; especially now that “locking the circle” seems to have been taken away. But its effectiveness as attacker against so many things caused me to reassess it more favorably.

Another that took me awhile to recognize as an attacker worth having is Nihilego. And I just finished pushing my main’s hundo to max.
(Edit: Obviously, Nihilego’s most recent raid week was before Niantic oppressively decided we shouldn’t be allowed to do more than 5 remote raids a day… I raided the living snot out of it to get the Candy XL.)

The Psycho event helped me get enough candy XL from mega Gardevoir to push one to max, on both main and alt.
Both 91 IV (14-14-13 and 15-13-13, respectively). They were super-stingy with the XL, so it took a lot of mega raids.

Those darned things languished at level 48 for ages. And another max Mewtwo would have been a more valuable investment. But who can say no to a brainy broad with a pirouette charge attack?
