This was the reward for fighting Giovanni (besides Palkia) and I’m so happy about it! I’ve wanted a shiny absol for so long and it couldn’t come at a better time, in a cool sunglasses costume.

Bravo, but I not even have seen him in the raid-list… Bad luck or bad moment to look?
The Shadow Ho-Oh event was Sunday from 2pm to 5pm, locally. Having remote raids enabled for it meant that it could be raided through raid-hosting apps like Poke Genie most of the weekend. This was from Chechia, which was around 8 a.m. in my local time.
By the time the event came to USA west coast, I got most of my raid groups by inviting my own friends, not by posting on Poke Genie. I invited you a few times, but I’m guessing you were already sleeping.
That’s exactly the problem… 
Your 2pm is for me 11pm, and nearly all days I’m sleeping at this hour.

I skipped yesterday’s spotlight hour due to a huge thunderstorm in my area, so I took a walk earlier in the day to try and hatch some birdies.
However, I opened the game late at night and was greeted with a shiny wooper.
And it’s a particularly pretty shiny, too!

… I need to check the farfetch’d in my collection, I didn’t know there was a galarian version. That one looked so normal to me, so I checked the shiny only to see it in pink. Except. It’s not that one, at all! I may have transferred something I shouldn’t have. 
(seeing both of them side to side is very obvious, but…)
edit: I only have the galarian version, four of them. Pokedex says Seen 4 Caught 4… So I hope I didn’t transfer the normal version, I just never had it… I don’t think I’d transfer it, as it’s very cute and they do look very different, I just panicked because I wasn’t remembering properly. (I’ll still leave this here for anyone needing a laugh.)

I still have to evolve 2 shiny Ralts into Gardevoir and Kirlia, but I have enough shinies for the whole family.

So this is my 1st shiny of 2025 outside of an event like community day or spotlight hour, etc. I was missing random shinies and I’m very glad for this one!
