It’s only a visual effect, later on you can choose which type of Pokedex you want to see (normal, shiny, Hundo, Shadow…)

A shiny morning for me! It was approximately on the same spot as that oddish that turned into a Ditto and the shiny Jigglypuff!
(hopefully the next shiny I post will be a ponyta/rapidash from community day!

Well, the day finally arrived and I got 9 shinies, 2 of which I really liked and evolved into kanto rapidash (one of my favourite pokemon) and also galarian rapidash, so the family is complete in both variations.
The ones I evolved I got through field research and they’re great ones, the rest is really kid of meh, but at least they’re shiny and one of them is an xxl, which I always appreciate!
The galarian ones were taking me longer to find and at a certain point I thought I wouldn’t get to have a shiny rapidash (I don’t evolve shinies, unless I have more than 1 or I much prefer a different stage), but it all worked out for the better in the end.
I really like this one! :
One of my other favourite pokemon is Hisuian Arcanine and I think this shiny Rapidash would look so cool in that colour scheme, too.

I’ve just had a late night surprise when I checked the game, look at this pretty thing!
I love that mischievous little smile! I was taken by surprise, too, as I was out of razz berries, so I used a golden one AND managed an excellent throw 1st try. I was super glad!
(I’m not ready to deal with a runaway shiny just yet, especially not this one!)

Have seen a lot of Lapras lately but haven’t seen a shiny one in YEARS, so it’s good to see one again for sure!

I’m not seeing any Lapras 
lately. I’m still trying to get a 100% and have Traded for so many. It’s my White Whale.
and it’s so close to the normal version, too, much easier to miss! I’d still be sleepy at that time, it could very well happen to me.

I got this one today, thinking this is the time I get a good one to evolve… but it’s a shiny instead! 
I really prefer this version, too, it stands out a lot more and it reminds me of christmas tree’s ornaments…
