I completed my Throwback Challenge 2020: Kanto.
Now i have a reward to catch Mewtwo, but i was thinking to wait when it’s windy weather for weather boost.
Will the reward stay there for a unlimited time or will it disappear?
The Mewtwo encounter should disappear once it’s become Friday, May 8th 1pm for you. Also, Research Encounters can’t be Weather Boosted. My advice it to just catch it.

Did not know that. Wouldn’t it be great if that tactic could overcome the 5-level handicap applied to research rewards? The cost of ten extra power-ups accumulates quickly…
