Yeah, @Branebs gives us really good material, he has a good manner to find them in Internet.
I know others on here have likely done it before me, but today marks the first time where I have managed to solo a Tier 5 raid battle!
That’s awesome, congratulations! I’ve never managed a 5 tier solo.
I might try one too then
Wow, both of you very good.

Looks like you came in way more prepared.
my team was just random junk.
Maybe the error is that they call it a Tier 5… ![]()
No, congrats to both of you
My best attempt so far, despite an unfortunate mess up I did early on in the battle. Clearly, it was not good enough for a Shiny however. I think I have soloed it 7 times now, mostly duoed it.
Welp. This is my closest attempt to @Brobraam’s score so far, and will probably also remain the closest ![]()
Well…Altaria is my favorite tied with Raticate and I just managed to get my hands on a perfect one after I purified a 3 star shadow Swablu. But then I learned that for PVP I actually want a 0/14/15 spread….whoops! ![]()
My search for the “perfect” Altaria continues…. IMG_0660|231x500
At least it would be a nice one to Mega Evolve! But yes, for the GBL you typically want no Atk. I don’t know why though.
That’s because attack impacts the CP more than the other stats do.
By keeping a lower attack Pokémon you can have way more IV’s in the other stats with roughly the same cp
Yeah, I’ll keep her for the Ultra League and switch her with the best buddy Altaria I’m using for that spot now. I shall make this one my new best buddy so she can get the max benefit from the CP boost. I do decently in Ultra League with my 3 star Altaria at 2216 CP. 4 star with best buddy boost will get her to 2293 CP.
I really want to play official tournaments though so I need to keep tracking down Swablu until I find that perfect Great League spread.
Just to share something funny I had never noticed before in the game. When you fight against a ditto somebody placed in a gym (not a raid), it actually turns into the pokemon you are using.
I think it’s pretty neat to see this trick in the game and it was a surprise when I encountered a ditto and then suddenly I saw “my” pokemon faint. ![]()
That is neat! I don’t think I’ve ever fought a ditto in a gym now that you mention it ![]()
That was the first time I saw one, too, to be fair. It gave it an interesting spin to the gym battle.
