Lets talk - (anything)

Personally I dislike summer and prefer colder weather or, at the very least, a weather without too much heat. Summer is always too hot and, unfortunately, “fire season” here. I’ve already begun to smell the smoke in the air and it’s way too early for that. I say “fire season” because things have got bad to a point where it happens every year, at greater losses, but because there’s no actual punishment for fire starters or proper police investigation to the people behind them + lack of investment in resources to fight the fires… every year is a disgrace.

Not to kill the mood here, but smelling smoke so early has left me in a bad mood in the morning. And it’s getting hot outside!

It was an intention to be funny…

Yes, I don’t have obviously a lot of talent… but well, a try is a try.

One month ago I got accepted my jubilation (here you need now an age of 66 years and 8 month), so I’m free to taste a summer without preoccupation.

I hope you enjoy your retirement. I expect to enter my long dirt nap before reaching 70, and just learned our org recently raised our retirement age to 80. So I’m shifting my plans for retirement from the Comedy section to Science Fiction.

80!! :flushed:

My wife’s family all have reached ages between 90 and 100, but from my own family there’s noone who has even reached the age of 80. Ayyy, that would mean I would never retire in your place.

And another thing very important, here we have the medical system without extra payment, and once retired we receive a monthly payment from government.
This way you can really enjoy these times.

There’s more to the nature of reality than we can see, let alone anticipate, and I am certain that, given a FULL perspective, I would deem it a grace. But to feel quite ready for rest and be told there’s another 10 years past what I thought will be the finish doesn’t seem good at all right now…

I think we are from so many different places here, sometimes it’s really difficult to understand all of what we tell. The circumstances are so different, the social rules, opportunities and services…
Europe is quite uniform, but still we have different rules. And when you change country like me… you cannot imagine how many you have to learn and and new rules you have to complish.
And now, comparing this with North America, South America, Asia, Africa… every step more difficult than the one before.
And the last I have heared here in the television, that there will be a Tele-Conquest where you can win the USA-Passport… everything has it’s limits for me.

I didn’t post this in the “Promo code” section, as it isn’t really a promo code, but due to the global gift challenge being completed, you can now gift Special Research to other players that you are friends with. So, basically, you can get the Machop Community Day Ticket for free.

All you have to do is go to Machop Special Research in the shop and select “gift” and send it to your friends. There are some requirements for this, such as: you need to be at least “Great friends”, they can’t have acquired the ticket yet, the option to receive paid gifts must be enabled in their account…

There’s also a limit to 20 per day, but it’s here for a little while longer (not too long, though!).

(I’ve tried sending a few, some were successful some not, and I’m still waiting for mine… :grinning:)

Hey, apart of congrats for advancing in all frontiers (I´ve seen you in a lot of different themes publishing), I have taken a look in my account and I found nothing related to this ticket. I know it exist, but I haven’t found it.

You’ve got some info on the “Events” section after the Go pass: May explaining the bonus that is active right now.

If you go into the shop (ingame) and click “Machop Community Day Classic Ticket” you get two options, to either buy that ticket or gift it to somebody else. This second option is free! You can gift this ticket to friends ingame (max of 20 per day) and get it for yourself this way, too.

Then it goes into your inventory and I suppose it becomes “playable” during the community day. I’ve never bought a community day ticket, so I don’t exactly know the extent of the offers.

And thanks! I’ve had some progress in my collection, definitely! I’ve had special shiny luck lately, which is always welcome and hopefully it sticks around for a while.

Good luck for you, I´ve tried it and when I don’t pay 5,49 $ it doesn’t work. :man_shrugging:

Oh, now I’ve seen, it’s another point in the shop.

Correct! Anyone still in need of one?

So there are only the giganti-max battles today? Nothing for just a tier one or three max battle?

I think I will ignore them…

I don’t dislike them as much as GBL; but regular raiding is still my priority. Still, I make it a point to dabble a bit with the max battle stuff.

The GO Pass could easily become monthly subscriptions to the full game, with a lower level introductory tier that’s free. Something Niantic never quite had the nerve to do.

Let’s hope it doesn’t get to that point. Unfortunately I wouldn’t be surprised if it will however.

I must admit though, so far I really enjoyed the previous two and this GO Pass made me play a lot more than I usually do. If they keep it how it is (and keep the PokéCoins as a reward) then I think it’s a really good addition to the game.

I think all depends how the new owners will act. I liked a lot the last pass. Let’s see how this one will end…
