Last Terrakion Raid of the cycle done and dusted. Unfortunately still no shiny, though. Hopefully I can at least get one of Cobalion, Mega Glalie & Kyurem, in Shiny because I also still need those. For Terrakion, it looks like I have to wait a couple of months more.
What to think about the new way to get an evolution of a PokƩmon?
Or thereās some trick, or I donāt understand whatās going on.
Three postcards from the same region to get a Scatterbug, what gives normally 3 candies. After you have a two-step evolution, which needs 125 candiesā¦
What do they want? A massive usage of rare candies?
And thereās still the old saying āwanna catch them allā, so I have to repeat this 20 times??? 2500 candies??? And like in my collection, I need both genderā¦ 5000???
Well, just learned you can save the gifts in your own bag as postcards, so at least your not completely dependant on others, but can fill your chances of catching a Scatterbug.
Learned something new, the gifts from your own bag are limited to three in the same day.
Trying to get us to use postcards, to use lots of 'em to get a nominal reward, and to move around more, it seems. How Niantic of them. If this gets us to start using the postcard feature more, watch for Niantic to add this to Go Battle League rewards (to get us to use GBL more)ā¦
Have the spawn points changed again? Four (I believe?) spawn points I could reach from home have gone missing since early this morning and only one new spawnpoint was gained. Or is that because of Community Day?
Havenāt noticed a change in Spawn Points
Spawn points at my house seem to be in constant flux.
From a high watermark of 17 per hour 2 years ago, I go up and down - but generally down - on an almost daily basis.
Iām currently at 4 per hour. Tomorrow? Who knowsā¦ but it canāt get much worse
Interesting. I have been checking the spawn points since Community Day ended but so far none of the missing spawn points have made their return yet. On the other hand the ānewā spawn points also hasnāt spawned anything yet since the Community Day ended here so I canāt make a conclusion still. It was cool to see my old 2016 spawn point make a return yesterday but I definitely hope itās not a lasting one because I wouldnāt be happy with three lost spawn points. Iāll investigate it tomorrow. The infrequent amount of spawns since the end of the event makes doesnāt make me hopeful, though. Iāve opened the game three times after a relatively long period and twice there was no spawn at all and once I saw one. Before yesterday Iād always see at least one around (unless I caught them, obviously) so I fear the worst.
While totally expected that the new āfeatureā of tracking size records for each species would require at least a min and max to be recorded at least once for each species, some of them seem to be getting new records for nearly every catch. I canāt remember the last Cobalion I got that didnāt give a new record.
I wish I could turn off that notification; I donāt even care about PokĆ©mon sizes, anyway.
Still only one spawn point has been spotted since the end of the Community Day. Wellā¦
Looks like Iām almost going back to the pre-covid times where I came home and the day was just over for PokĆ©mon GO.
When this Min and Max at least would work as other badges, to fulfill the requirements for one of the last levelups.
But in my account not even this, the first day I got a count of 1/5 in the XXL badge, but after it has not changed. The XXS badge not even appears. Only visible affect are these advices of a new record caughtā¦
Gave another check, and yet another spawn in the spawn point I already figured out.
Then figured Iād probably need to take a look at my screen shots from this month and figured December 9th showed the old spawn points just fine and they seem to have gone missing since December 12th as all screen shots since that date only show the same one spawn point. I think the only reason I figured it out last weekend is because a new spawn point got added, which was apparently only for the duration of the Community Day. Also I had a pretty busy week from December 13th - 17th so thatās probably why I didnāt notice it before.
I wasnāt at home on December 10 - 11 so I cannot provide data from those dates.
Conclusion: the spawn points have indeed gone absent. Iām definitely not happy about it but on the other hand Niantic always fails to improve the game so thatās no surprise. At least itās better than pre-covid because now I at least have a spawn point whereas back then I had none at all but that only lasted like a month or two while this may take longer.
Finally found an article on it too, stating spawn points have changed on December 12th or 13th, so that matches with what I noticed. Another loss for this long ruined game.
I jump too much around the world as if I could notice these things.
But what I notice is that I have to move if I want to see spawns.
The more I move, the more spawns I have around me.
Anybody has heared of a maximum of candies per day? I have searched a little bit, and it seems that there is a limit of 42 km which count for candies, the rest of walking doesnāt give candy.
I ask because exactly my problem in the moment is, that I walk with my Scatterbug buddy and each time the distance-counter comes to 1 km it goes back to zero but the candy counter doesnāt go up.
Might feel a little more āluckyā if it were possible to trade from thousands of km away, @NotanotherKangaskhan . But Iām glad to connect California and Oz.
Merry Christmas yāall!
Canāt say nun on the first but I for sure know you got the Dutch one right. Vrolijk kerstfeest, @celery!
