Anybody been playing Pikmin Bloom?
I had a quick go yesterday… but it didn’t really seem much fun.
Perhaps I’m missing something, but all it did was map where I had walked… 
I’ve tried it as well, but… no, seems more a thing for youngsters.
The game’s warning us to finish the misunderstood-mischief in time. But by what date does it need to be completed? Is it hours away, or weeks away? It seems to imply that we need to finish by November 26; but the actual deadline seems unclear.
The reason it matters is that misunderstood mischief research is still in a dormant state (stalled at stage 12 of 16). So it’s not even possible to progress, yet.
That warning is more for the people that aren’t as far as we are.

Ar first I thought that the text was reference to “video killed the radio star”but apparently there has been some Canadian musician who brought out an album named “internet killed the rock star” this year

A long time ago I used to DJ and book bands at a club in the city where I worked. One night we had a band called Emily play. They sounded like a sub-par East Village but thought they were the Velvet Underground.
Anyhoo, unbeknownst to me, they broke into a store cupboard full of liquor, got pissed and nicked a crate load of whisky and vodka - then played a few songs (badly), got paid and drove off in their van.
The next day the club owner rang me up and… long story short… I had to work for a month for free to pay off the debt.
Rock ‘n Roll? Hell, yes!!

Since they’ve played at that club in your city, you know how that band can be contacted, I suppose? How have you been held liable?

Well… I honestly can’t remember every detail, but I think it was Mrs. celery who made contact with the band - by writing a letter to their record label (this was around 1990-1, so there was no cellphones or email).
Why did we pay off the debt? Good question…
There was no way we were going to get the money for the booze from the band - they were from Dorset, or Hampshire, or somewhere hundreds of miles away - and they’d scarpered sharpish after the gig.
We earned £50 a night, once a week - and about £200 of stuff got nicked - so we worked for free for a month until the score was settled.
We still got to DJ for our mates and see some of our favourite bands - and we had other day jobs, so we weren’t relying on the money. It seemed fair enough at the time…

Hopefully it will arrive quickly, or at least in time for Christmas. A lot of ships are parked offshore waiting to be unloaded, and I wouldn’t be shocked if Pokémon Geritol and Metamucil comes out before the last of them are processed.
His birthday is a week after Christmas, so we should be good
Covid-19 has entered the house here. I myself do not have it, but I guess it’s only a matter of time until I do. Really looked forward to Shinx Community Day but I’m fine with a Community Day at Home, too.
