Lets talk - (anything)

I haven’t looked into those yet.

Better informed now, 5 colors (three regionals), only females and normal evolutions inside same colors.
So it will go better than I thought.

Is Deoxys attack still solo-able?

he was before level 50 pokemon so he should be now if you’ve got some stuff powered up. Also he was soloable before remote raids with remote increased damage.
Done 18 this weekend, most with 5 or 6 players, all done in like 30 seconds. If in doubt just remote one and yolo some remote invites and if just one joins you’re more then good. But even without you’ll be safe.

This is the team I ran to solo (all shadow except mega gengar) with almost half time left. You can solo it pretty easily with just lvl 35 ttars

Apparently the dates for Deoxys bosses have changed from the initial February overview on pokemongolive.com. (It has attack form starting today and lasting until Thursday; but defense form began last night overseas, and attack form is still in local T5 eggs this morning.)

I must have missed the changed plan. Can somebody point me to the new dates?

No new dates, it was normal, attack, right now defence, and starting friday speed.

also, it doesn’t matter in what order they come, all that matters is they are 3 days available each (with some time zone overlap for remote raids). It’s not that they’ll change the order midway through. So it really doesn’t matter what order they do.

Also also, why check the site anyway? just look outside and see what is out there

He wants to planify when to take a break…

Speed Forme Deoxys

Mea culpa… My reading was not careful enough: my eye thought it looked each list item had the format
[form image / form name / dates];
but the were actually
[dates / form image / form name]

So I associated the date range with the name of the form on the line immediately preceding it. The actual arrangement is obvious on re-reading. Sorry to be so easily confused.

The confusion easy to understand, and would be so easy to avoid with some simple lines between the forms.

Well, I think it’s time to announce my decision about this game. The last event was, as we say in Germany, the last nail to close my coffin.

You have to enjoy a game to play it for so long time. And that’s just the problem, I suffer more than that I enjoy. So I will stop to play “by the rules of Niantic”… so it means I will go on playing, but by my own way.

I have started to create a “Living, all gender, Hundo Pokedex”. And as all of you can imagine, with normal gameplay this isn’t possible. But it’s fun, and that’s what matters to me. To fulfill this Meta it’s necesary to jump around the world, something not acceptable by the rules of the game, nor by the rules of this web.

So, if you want that I leave this web, I will do so. But I would like to stay, limiting my comments about me to a minimum.

Alola pokemon coming next tuesday

I do get why you are quitting pokemon go. But do stay around. You’re liked here

I’m with you on this one. I’ve slowly but steadily stopped actively playing Pokémon GO and, although I surely enjoyed Johto Tour, I feel like the game is just not it anymore. Niantic has managed to make the game so bad nowadays I’m just not having fun anymore. The frustrating search of a Lugia yesterday and the fact that they don’t let me evolve my Eevee into Espeon anymore were the final things that led to my decision. I was planning on creating a topic explaining why I am not a fan of Pokémon GO anymore, but it seems you were quicker.

I will probably still open the game everyday, but I have no incentive to make anymore walks for at least a long period of time, possibly forever. As you might have noticed I’ve also been less and less online on the forum too. I will still return every once in a while but I’m not sure if it’ll still be everyday, like I used to.

Edit: maybe I’ll try the beginning of the next Season, because it seems exciting but after that I’ve seen it with this game for a while. Besides, they make everything look exciting and it always turns out to be the biggest flop so I have every reason to believe that’s going to happen again.

I’m seeing quite a bit of dislike for aspects of the Johto Tour event my local Discord in line with here.
I don’t do social media platforms to go looking all over the web to see if it’s a common theme.
Some will take the failure to complete all parts a lot harder than others. With all the stuff Niantic do it’s understandable that players decide to go the break ToS rules to make the game enjoyable.
After the event I will think a lot harder about parting with $$ to participate.

It appears hardly anyone enjoyed the Johto Tour. I’ve read lots of people saying this was the last time they bought a Ticket. And Niantic thinks Pokémon GO will last another decade. Are they living under a rock or what? If they continue what they’re doing it won’t even reach 2024. They need to change their behavior drastically but they’re too greedy to realize that.

I’m one of many in my community who was really disappointed with Johto event.
To sum it up: there was just way too much to do and keep track of leaving little time to actually shiny hunt. I too fell for the Espeon blunder.

  • total of 32 shinies in 12 hours, just under 4 per hour, with a dead streak of no shinies for 2 straight hours (6Pm to 8PM). the Misses had a dead streak of 6.00Pm tot 8.55PM and ended with 2 crappy shinies just as we gave up and got home. Both dead streaks started pre- 6PM, but then we switched cars and counted that as checkpoint.

  • 1 total shiny that was worth it, remoraid, all others were crap (5 onix, 4 marill etc…)

  • Done 45 raids for corsola, 110+ total on the 3 family accounts. Nothing…

  • spawns after 7 pm were total crap, the new shinies were impossible to hunt.

  • as mentioned, we forgot to evolve an espeon, failed a challenge.

  • shiny odds for the new shinies were way too low. Even with it’s own event + johto event we still have no shiny slugma for example. I had silver version, think i got a Phanpy?

  • logged in sunday and got 2 shiny alolan trees within 5 minutes to rub it all in.

  • catch challenges, raid challenges, snaphot challenge, trade challenge, evolve challenge, rocket challenge, it was just too much too keep track of ánd shiny hunt at the same time.

Edit: An older lady friend from the community rode with use a few hours. Had to explain 3 times how she could make a photobomb for the quest, that kinda player. Guess who caught multiple good shinies (like Girafarig (which she called a horse) and Mantine)…?

I’ve been to Go Fest Dortmund twice. The 2nd time we there were habitats, just like to hourly ones we got this weekend and the “new” Go fest.
Wanted a shiny really bad? Hang out in that habitat for as long as you need! Not this BS we currently have were you have to be lucky 2 x 1 hour and pray to RNGesus to give something nice.

This is exactly what I mean when I’m talking of suffering instead of enjoying.
It makes no sense in any way.
But the worst is, imagine we make a strike against Niantic, nobody is giving money away for events, etc.
The result would be that Niantic stops the game because they loose money instead of winning it. So the real loosers would be ourselves…
