Didn’t grind too hard, because I had other things to do, and only ended up getting 34 Shinies this time. And a Shiny Alolan Grimer right at the start for using an Incense.

My CD went well. I got 6 shinies, several good-IV Fletchling, evolved 5 Talonflame and got 1 from the special research.

I already had my hundo, so I casually played through the day as I was laying down cells for a webcomic. That being said, I still managed 17 Shinies.

I had to work through half of the event. But I still got over a dozen shinies (poor quality) and evolved a couple of decent Talonflames.
I have to admit, though, that this was one of my favorite catches. It might be the lowest combination of IV, CP, and level of all my Pokémon.

Did anybody not buy the community day ticket? I’m not a Snivy fan so I can’t convince myself to buy it. Besides better IVs (and sometimes decent IVs on shinies), is there supposed to be any other benefits to CD tickets?
I haven’t ever bought the CD ticket. Not worth my money in my opinion
I normally buy them and always question after why and was it worth it?
With what I’ve got out of them if they costed 4-5x more I wouldn’t have bothered anymore after the first 2.

Yeah, I mean even for that Kanto ticket months ago, I wasn’t understanding it completely. But when they mentioned a chance to get shiny Mew, I just ignored the price of the ticket, lol. If it wasn’t for that though, it would’ve been a hard pass from me.
Speaking of which, after the Kanto Day event, I was really confused if that ticket was relevant to the event or not. Like was my chances of getting shiny Mew already over after a day? I had to look up on Serebii to see if I’m still good.

Well, I stopped once I had three shinies, one for every evolution-step. I cannot explain it, but I don’t like them. I needed 45 minutes to get them.

I played for 3 hours. Got 7 shinies. First shiny had great IVs but CP was 11. Later I got 3 shinies in one place almost back to back. I used incense for the last hour because it started to rain. I evolved 7 Serperior with frenzy plant and got 1 from the special research. Since my first shiny had best IVs, I evolved it and powered it up. I found many Snivy with good IVs. All in all, it was a good CD.

Quite productive. After I attained the goal of getting the hundo, I just kept grinding for Stardust. I came out with 400,000 Stardust and a record 26 Shinies, one of them a 93%.

Played the same way as the previous CDs during pandemic, end up with 11 shiny, one of which is 93% from research, my goal was to grind stardust.

Worked all day and got none
Only played for roughly 2 1/2hrs all up with half of that sitting at home manual catching and other half while driving in the car to run some errands with the Go Plus.
I dropped an incense at the start at home and got too sleepy to continue catching after 90min. We had only got home at 4am from a long trip catching stuff 200km away from home to use for XL Candy Trades the day/night before. Had a power nap then got up to run the errands finishing the day on the Go Plus while driving around.
I’m a bit disappointed at the missed opportunity to cash in on the dust. Already had my L40 100% and evolved it at the start.
Picked up 7 Shiny in the end.

It was a pretty decent CD, considering I had to work most of the day. Harvested some stardust but also got a dozen shinies in the process. Most mons I encountered were of mediocre-to-poor quality.

This Community Day was a very tough one in the beginning, but the last hour compensated that.
I walked around for 5 1/2 hours and walked a total of 24km (I wish I was on the third stage for Shiny Mew already😅). In the first 1 1/4 hours I got surprised with 16 Shinies, however, in the next 45 minutes I only got three. At some point, after 700 encounters to be precisely, I had a Shiny rate of 1/36,8, where the estimated Shiny rate is 1/22,5 - 1/25. However, in the last hour I finally had a Shiny rate higher than 1/30 and actually ended up having 1/27,5, which is doable.
I ended up getting 77 Shiny Snivy and 1 Shiny Plusle right after. No Hundo as always, only 81 XL Candy because I was pretty low on PokéBalls yesterday and the best Shiny was still not that good. I even accidentally put it in a Gym and couldn’t evolve it. Lol
In the end it was a good Community Day for sure!

I slept most of the day, so I had about 2 hours left of playing. Ended up with four shinies, with one of them at 93% and the rest below 71%. I’m pretty satisfied with that since I didn’t get the ticket this time. The only thing was that I forgot about evolving one to get Frenzy Plant, so I’m going to wait until December.
I got my CD day mixed up and woke up at 11:30 after a late night early morning of Gym busting to find Swabluu all over the screen.
Just finished doing 1 Incense at home and now having a spell for a bit. Not sure I go hard for the rest as I’ve maxed the 4000 bag out twice now.
I’ll get the 80 remaining XL’s I need from Trades.
12 Shiny in 3hrs is more than enough.
As usual no 100% Shiny or Normal (last 100% CD was Larvitar)
Powered my old Altaria up to L40 in readiness for the Mega Raids.
Evolved the biggest CP Shiny for Moon Blast.
The next 4-5 weeks will be all about being ready (having heaps of bag space) for Gible CD.
