In Australia, you can get a new phone for less than the cost to replace the battery. Replacing the battery here can cost upwards of $250 Australian as they nearly always break the screen requiring a new screen at the same time as the battery.

Seems that America and Europe’s prices have skyrocketed more in the duration of last decade than they have in Australia. Inflation I guess ¯_(ツ)_/¯
