I’d say maybe Breloom or Kyogre. Sceptile stands out as starter. I have to agree with everyone else here though.

My favorite Hoenn Pokémon is Relicanth… But that’s due to some stupid story… As a kid I loved dinosaurs and all kinds of fossils and I was fascinated by the Coelacanth (the so-called “living fossil”), and when I first saw Relicanth I was so keen to get one! Unfortunately it’s one of the damn regionals…

Because it’s cute and yet dangerous. It’s also the only intimidating fairy type Pokémon, which brings some depth to the cute fairy type.
