By all means… I’d LOVE to not be tagged by your self appointed henchmen anymore. Sanity left this conversation right around the time they chimed in.
Ok, now that we’re finding some common ground let’s end this debate for good. All. People do things differently. Let’s leave it at that.
ENOUGH.
Hello @Thorend, some time ago I have asked you, if you could tell me how “exactly” is calculated the IV by the different programs. Or better explained, how they get the three values for attack, defense and health. Because once you have them, the calculation for the % is really easy.
I’m trying to stop this, but no-one is listening to me
Yeah let’s just stop there is enough drama in this world now let’s keep our reputation of being a non-toxic community
The apps look at the values of attack, defense, and star and base the IV percentage off those. Each value ranges from 0-15 for a possible max combined score of 45. So if there IV values are 14/14/14 it would have 42 out of 45 possible points and would be 93.33% of a perfect Pokémon.
Up to this point everything clear and easy.
Apps that violate the TOS log into the users account to get the actual individual values. Other apps that do not violate the TOS use trainer inputs of HP and CP to compare against a table to give you possibilities of what the percentage of perfection might be and you can narrow the possible options using in game appraisals.
Ah, so it’s not a function which calculate it, but a search in table…
In terms of ones that don’t invade the app itself, PokeAssistant is the best one (available through Google). Calcy IV is the best Android one, and PokeGenie is the best IOS one.
Oh, ok. I just thought you were asking for general advice
Suicune confirmed for Europe!?
Welcome to Hong Kong, Raikou.
Hmm… Please allow me to ask a question. Where are @Elderscroller and @ShadowWolf? They both stop commenting on the forum since Sep 5. It’s so weird.
They’ve been frequently discussing about Pokemon GO before Sep 5, but now they are likely vanished on this forum. What’s going on?
