I suspect some changes are being put into the game right now as I got the spinning circle of death that would not go away. I shut the ap down and restarted and cant get in. Always seems to happen with new changes.

yes an update is required for gen3 to launch because 0.75.0 has no sound files or other ressources for gen3. but the next release according to the usual release cycle is scheduled for tomorrow (wednesday). so i personally am expecting a big (and maybe forced) update.
