This might be a dumb question, but is it possible to capture a legendary at a gym with only one person in the raid?

No, because you cannot defeat it in the given time

@bagguille I usually check the Pokemon’s stats and IV right after I capture them. I wouldn’t leave Pokemon with poor stats in my pokebox.

Well, I wait until I’m back at home. I don’t want to loose the time checking on my walking way. Maybe I have too much luck… from 85 IV and above it hurts to throw away a mon (at least to me), and I have a lot of this.

I would adopt a stricter standard for meta-relevant Pokemon like Dragonite & Tyranitar. They should be >95 IV

However, that couldn’t be the case for Legendary Pokemon.

As a collector, and if the best I have is only 55 IV, he will stay. And I’m talking about not-meta mon’s. For example, for a long time my best Yanma had 35 IV, so until not enters a better one, he has to stay.

Just see if you’re a casual player.

I’m inbetween a casual (collector) & hardcore player (competitor)

We shouldn’t be calculated on simple (available for any ages) game like Pokemon G

Hatched a 96 IV Bagon and evolved to Salamence just now!

Congrats!!!
