No Passes this end of the world this morning either. Some in our group are getting anxious to know if all the work we’ve done in the last week has triggered an Ex Raid in a new Gym in a new area.

I hedged my bets and did 2 Raids in the known repeat Ex Raid Gyms while hitting the new area hard.

Jep, lots of passes for people on places they have been a long time ago, or not even at all

Locally what its looking like is Niantic have issued Pass for all the Ex Raid eligible Gyms and going back as far as the need to get the numbers to hand out.

Lots of reports locally of people getting Ex Passes without even doing a Raid or Battle at the Gym. Some have confirmed all they did was spin the Gym Disc. Now that really is a kick in the guts if you’ve Raided the Gym and missed out and all some did was spin the Gym and gets one.

If people are getting passes for simply spinning a gym, surely I should just spin every possible gym in London?

I wouldn’t be advocating this as a minimum requirement moving forward. The issue of Passes today is out of wack with the usual trend and it looks like they just handed them out to any one that had any contact with that Gym at any stage. There’s speculation this has been done so most players get a Mewtwo chance as they will be changing Mewtwo to something else soon.

Also, reports indicate that they’ve messed with the way s2 cells and EX raids will work. This implies that it’ll be harder to get an invite

Finally, maybe this isn’t Niantic making room for a new raid boss by giving literally everyone (but me lol) a pass, maybe it’s them finally deciding to scrap the system in favour of a new one. Who knows though, they aren’t a transparent company
