This is mainly just about what pokemon do you have already reserved for the next generation and which ones do you still have to work towards:

That’s my lineup, and i still need:
20 more candy for Mamoswine
A better IV Yanma
15 more Lickitung candy
45 more porygon candy
A better IV Kirlia

I’m quite sure some people’s numbers are higher, but I saved candy. My current numbers are:

  • Magnemite: 227 candy
  • Lickitung: 618 candy
  • Rhyhorn: 265 candy
  • Tangela: 355 candy
  • Electabuzz: 426 candy
  • Magmar: 340 candy (no shinies)
  • Eevee: 1379 candy (-25 that I’ll still have to spend on an Umbreon) and enough shinies
  • Porygon: 383 candy
  • Togepi: 158 candy (and one lucky Togepi, no shinies)
  • Aipom: 419 candy
  • Yanma: 127 candy
  • Murkrow: 1088 candy (no shinies)
  • Misdreavous: 484 candy
  • Gligar: 223 candy
  • Sneasel: 211 candy
  • Swinub: 654 candy
  • Ralts: 179 candy and several male Ralts/Kirlia
  • Nosepass: 482 candy
  • Roselia: 741 candy and a second shiny to evolve
  • Duskull: 503 candy (no shinies)
  • Snorunt is the only Gen4 prep I seem to have forgotten (it’s hard to find here)… only 36 candy, but at least I kept some female ones… no shinies of course

I have decent IV Pokémon for all those evolution lines. I should be able to get all Pokédex entries with the candy I have (except for Snorunt…), unless there will be evolution items…

I completely forgot Roselia has an evolution in Gen4, thanks for reminding me of that :laughing:

I doubt that, those amounts of candy are amazing! I’ve been saving up too, but some pokemon like Lickitung I have only ever seen 5 and caught 5 so i’m envious of your figures there.

Lickitung is rare without the right event… But it was very common during the first Valentine’s event (2017) though. That’s where I collected that candy. I’d give you half of mine if I could…
