There shouldnt be a standard, just evolve the eevee according to day/night in your game…works for me

A) What are those Pokemons that were GENERALLY good or used in taking down gym?

B) Those good for depending gyms?

C) Good if not Best Move set for the following:

B) Blissey, Chancey, (BS) Snorlax, Metagross, Exeggutor, Milotic

Venusaur - Vine Whip + FP
Charizard - Fire Spin + BB
Blastoise -Water Gun + HC (dont use him unless you have to)
Steelix - Iron Tail + Heavy Slam (again, dont use)
Scizor - Fury Cutter + X-Scissor
Gyarados - Waterfall + Hydro Pump
Snorlax - Lick + Body Slam
Machamp - Counter + Dynamic Punch (Karate Chop is just as fine)
Golem - Either RT+RB or MS+EQ
Hitmons - dont use
Dragonite - Dragon Tail + Outrage
Flareon - Fire Spin + Overheat
Jolteon - Thunder Shock + Thunderbolt
Vaporeon - Water Gun + Hydro Pump
Espeon - Confusion + Future Sight

Charizard is the only good starter evolution unless you like venasaur…

Gyrados is good…
Snorlax, Machamp, Esepeon, Dragonite, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, right up there also

Thanks for the truckload of infos…

For those NOT SO GOOD for battling, I just still want to have at least one of them in the inventory even though I might not even use them in actual battle, I just want to know their (each evolution) best possible moveset so I can select before thrashing most of them, even just for safekeeping or as you have said, a Trophy one! :grin:

Venusaur, unlike Charizard, doesnt face competition from better Pokemon (unless you include Skymin but you will likely only get one and also have to get the right HP)

Feint Attack/Snarl + Foul Play for Umbreon
Counter + Close Combat for Chan
Low Kick + Close Combat for Lee

Sceptile has to wait a year, Tangrowth isnt competition, Roserade is outclassed in most cases due to worse Charge move and bad bulk

You can use poke genie really good app to answer your questions.
Flareon, Dragonite, Venusaur, Scizor, Machamp are all up there in rank.
Blastoise sucks.
Machamp is best fighting I’m pretty sure.
Snorlax sucks after rebuff.
All the Eevee evos minus Espeon and Umbreon are good.

Yes, your best water type if you don’t have Kyogre with same moves.
Being lucky its a very cheap Power Up to L30 where it becomes very useful. L35 will be cheap enough too.
Candy is your problem though. Start walking that fish for 1 candy for 1km walked and go for every Magikarp you can find.

I currently have these items:

  • 2 Sun Stone
  • 4 King’s Rock
  • 3 Metal Coat
  • 2 Up-Grade
  • 100 Sinnoh Stone (I just wish so :rofl:)
