I’ve used the Evee rename trick for each of the 5 evolutions but since then I’ve gotten dozens of the original 3 but never another umbreon or espeon. Law of averages says i should have gotten several another of those 2 by now. Anyone else have this issue or a way around it?
You need to set your eevee as your buddy, walk 10k and get 2 eevee candy, with GPS on, evolve the eevee buddy at daytime will give you espeon; evolve at night time will give you umbreon

I just recently got Umbreon and Espeon after nickname trick years ago.
Well that’s kinda crappy. Wonder why they made it a trick rather than a random like the other 3
Niantic is weird…
Thats how it is in the actual game, they evolve at day or night. The other 3 needed stones.
