Do you guys know how to add nickname to trainers, I can’t find anywhere that tells me how to do it.

You probably need the current version (0.111.3) to do this, but then you can
open the screen where you can start a trade or send a gift to the selected friend. There you must scroll down. Right above the “remove friend” there should be an option to set a nickname
