Nope, Pier 19, Tokyo, and Singapore are arguably better.

But for me it is definitely the closest.

The connection is so bad.
Santa Monica itself still has the machop spawns and raids anyway.

I been to the pier once before when i visited my sister. Went alcatraz tour. So many people walk there its a major tourist attraction. Super lively. This was before PokemonGo tho.
