Congrats, in this moment your the only one who has testified to have 46 collections, and I think it’s the maximum number somebody can have.

After a new search in Internet my list of possible collections has gone up to 51.
So, yes, there are possibly other players which could give a better result, sorry.

Not sure which ones I failed to complete aside from the 2-3 special Rocket ones during that last GoFest event.
Pokemon GO wiki lists 52 collection challenges. But not all of them could be completed on one account. You had to choose one of GO Tour Kanto (Red and Green) and Johto (Gold and Silver) versions, also there was a live event where you had to choose your team’s collection challenge (Valor, Mystic or Instinct). Another thing is that there were exclusive collection challenges for those who participated at live events in select locations (one of them was in Okinawa). So it wasn’t possible for me to participate in those events, but I completed every other possible collection challenge.
Ok, I will re-edit the list in this way, renumbering in a, b or c this collections, to come up with the correct number. After I will publish here the list.
