My return to the game has been blessed!
I had no idea this was available now as a possible pokemon after opening that box (research task after 7 dailies… the name is lost on me now) so I feel very lucky about this one, it’s a beauty!
I also got enough Blitzle candy to evolve it into this one yesterday and it’s the best I’ve seen by miles:

This was a random spawn in the wild and at first I thought it was Santa Claus or pikachu dressed up like it, then maybe a penguin… 
I wasn’t familiar with this pokemon, but it was definitely a very good surprise!
I only hatched 2 eggs in this hatching event, but fortunately it was 50/50 and I managed to register this baby:
I still have one special egg, maybe that one will be extra lucky…

I’ve only seen one so far and it was a surprise, I thought the challenges would take longer to complete. Still, I didn’t play for very long, I’m saving more hours for tomorrow: cat day! it’s going to be interesting if sprigatito’s community day gets sprinkled with donut dogs here and there.

Finally I got enough candy to evolve it! I must say I love the name Meowscarada. I first saw it in a gym and thought it was a clever nickname, but it being canon is so much better.

Finally bit the bullet starting to evolve some of these. Moths of catches and useless Trades has not given any additional 100% since the second one I caught upon release.
Got a pile of Candy to burn.

Awesome! I’ve yet to get a 12 km egg from a rocket leader. When I fought 2 my inventory was full and I was no way near hatching even one to make room. Now I have 2 empty slots and Arlo is nowhere in sight. This ends tomorrow and is lowkey stressing me. Also I’m assuming it’s not a given that I’ll be hatching that one, right?

well, apparently all I had to do was complain here, because he appeared right after.
This one felt particularly good, because he usually gives me such a hard time but I beat him 1st time. The only one that gave me second thoughts was Metagross, but my Charizard finished the job. (I’m very glad it was Dugtrio and not Gyarados, not going to lie here but that’s on him for not knowing his opponent… )

I managed to catch Palkia this morning, after fighting Giovanni. I’m slightly disappointed with the ridiculous hp, but the main thing is I got it, after a very difficult fight for me (which just increases the upset with its hp—). I’ve been neglecting to upgrade my strong fairy ones, so that’s on me because this could have gone a lot smoother.
Maybe next time Giovanni can have Dialga, so I get to have that one too!
