But the odds that 4 torchic hundos spawn near you, and that they are all shiny seems very inconceivable
Some are blessed with shiny charm like @Jormdeworm some are blessed with shundo like myself.

It’s not unheard of for multiple hundos of the same species to be found in a small area, and given the accelerated shiny rate, it’s possible. Very unlikely, but it can happen statistically. For instance, I once found THREE hundo Geodude literally right next to each other. It was unfathomable, but I saw it and so did several Pokemon GO players in that area that day. It was insane.
