It finally happened: I got my first shundo!!! 
Hallelujah! 
It’s Fuecoco and I got it from the special research for Volcanion at GO Fest Global 2025! Since the first shiny was introduced in Pokemon GO on 22 March 2017, I’ve been trying to get a shundo. It’s been 3021 days or 8 years, 3 months and 7 days until I finally got one!

wow, congratulations! A part of me will miss those posts “this is where I’d put my shundo if I had one!”, to be honest, but this is, of course, much, much better. 8 years is a long time, for sure!

It was my newest trainer, Ashlee, that got a shundo Litwick (soon to be a shundo Chandelure, and maxed out as soon as she can afford the candies and dust.) Her phone has a screenshot button combination that takes a contortionist to press simultaneously, so she has no proof to post, yet. 
Edit: Even if itps on the phone that can’t take screenshots, I can still take a picture of THAT with another phone…
