Post your NEWEST shiny

I had gotten sick of Aipom long before this event, which made me even sicker of 'em. Finally met one tonight that I actually desired to catch. And now that I got a shiny one I can ignore Aipom from now on. (Hooray!)

I happily leave the rest of the shiny Aipoms to y’all who are due, especially @Pokemon and @Cup.

No leaving one for me?
0/94 atm
0 Blue Duck still too and I’ve seen just as many if not more Ducks than Monkeys atm. Wish I’d screen shot it the first time around as I’d have to be 0/3-400

:persevere: If you’ve checked nearly a hundred without seeing one yet, @NotanotherKangaskhan, then you’re a member of the group I inelegantly referred to as “y’all who are due”…

As for blue ducks, if I see one I’m diving on it, hoping there isn’t anybody or anything standing between me and it.:grin:

PS: To provide a bit of perspective, I had checked 232 of 'em before I found the shiny one…

Currently the shiny rate research after 13000 aipom is 1:460.

Actuall ended up getting 4 unique shinies that day also

I like snow in Pokémon go but in real Life, I absolutely despise it.

Still no shiny monkey here. If I ever get one, I may evolve it for dex purpose

Out of interest, when there’s a new Event with a new Shiny do you purposely go out and play more hours to find them or do you play the same way as non Event times?
I play and catch exactly the same way no matter it’s Event or non Event.
I don’t Shiny check, if I click on something I’m catching it for the Dust.

About the only difference is that I’ll take more care to catch everything I see, while sometimes without elevated shinies I might pass up some catch opportunities. And I agree with your last line 100%… if I clicked, I’m catching. And if it doesn’t have that spiral halo of shiny-indicators, what I see is not a Pokrmon, but a hundred stardust.

Raids, of course, are different… especially Legendaries.

I find I do prioritise the potential shinies then catch all else if time permits.
Used to be that I’d be able to check & catch most of the mons in most clusters, now there are too many shiny potentials & I normally don’t have time to catch all of the mons…

Not the right shiny either, although this is the first time I caught a Community Day Shiny outside its Community Day.

I try to prioritize the wild catch with possible shiny and others if time permits. If I click on it, I will be catching it for the dust, 1 ball = 100 dust minimum

It seems unworthy of posting, since it was just a 7d research breakthrough; but this evenng I got a shiny Latias. Worthless for attacking, but it sure is pretty.

I’ll take it if you don’t want it  It’s the only available legendary shiny that I’m still missing…
