3 shinies in a row! 
This is the 1st time this happened to me outside of a Community Day.

Well… I was surprised to find it caught onto my high speed this fast. Only had to move for two minutes at the most. No big loss, I already had it. Though this was just one of the very few shinies I found sadly.
Edit; would I learn from my mistakes? No, of course not 
My biggest highlights were the Bouffalant and this one:
Which, ironically, were both the first and last catches I did.
The grand total should have been 36 but I was an idiot and had two Shinies run on me 
thankfully I didn’t need either of them.
I cannot believe this! 
This was from the special research:
I chose mewtwo Y because I caught X yesterday (thank you very much for the invite @Jormdeworm , I managed it just in time, as I was walking and fortunately saw it in time!) but I never thought I’d be this extra lucky today! I saw another invite, too, can’t remember from whom, but it didn’t exist when I clicked it. Oh, well!
From what I understand the base form is the same, right? Having chosen X or Y only means one of them costs less to mega evolve that version?
This looks gorgeous and just to have mewtwo is awesome, as it’s one of my favourite legendaries (3 in total now).
I will update later with all the shinies caught in the event, but this was the highlight of my morning:
I caught Shiny mewtwo and also poop on my shoe! 
I guess my luck had to be balanced somehow!

Gofest day 2: this time I stayed at home (yesterday I was both in Oldenzaal and Zwolle at the other side of the country)
Today our local Pokémon GO spot was opened again and you can definitely notice the difference in my results…
The first Tropius was off a trade. In the final 20 minutes I finally got a highlight, and not just one, but two at that. Really glad with that Impidimp, and with my own caught Tropius. If anyone is missing a shiny Tropius, I’ll put this one up for trade.
All the shinies that I got in Go fest:
I already had a slugma, so I evolved the new one into Magcargo + caught 2 spoink spoink and I evolved one into a Grumpig. Bronzong I also evolved.
Total shinies: 24
(I didn’t capture the screenshot very well and for a second I thought I had a UnownN for trade, but no! The only shiny that goes for trade now is a repeated hisuian growlithe.)
I evolved the second party charmander I caught into this pretty thing!
I wasn’t expecting to find so many shinies, that was a surprise for me. I don’t think I had played so many hours in a go fest before, so there’s that. I really like the randomness of the shinies. I’d much rather find them like this over a community day. I understand it’s a very different thing and community days have been frustrating me of late, but I do enjoy this random shiny hunt.

Hmm… what do you want in return? I still have the shiny Scarf Pikachu if you want. It does not seem to be in wild spawns for this event, only in the premium version of the ticket.
Ah, awesome, it’s yours if you want it! I’ve added the 1st growlithe so it can be traded now. But it’s not a costume pokemon, are you sure you want to trade that for shiny scarf pikachu (female)? I can look up more shinies that you have, the list is immense! (Amaura, Bulbasaur…)
You gave me quite a scare now, the free version also has costume pokemon, fortunately, and that scarf one is there (according to this website, I only see shadows so I can’t really tell). It’s highly unlikely I will get a shiny that way, so, I would still go for the trade if you don’t mind.
I also need to use a lucky trinket, as well, the notification is annoying me as soon as I enter the game. I could use it on you so for the next time maybe I’ll have something better to trade and it will still be lucky?
It would be fine by me. I don’t really collect shiny costumes, and I have two more besides this one I believe. It might also be difficult to find something else that I still really need in exchange for that Pikachu, and at least the Hisuian Growlithe is one I still need at the moment. But I will try to get my list of what I still need done today or tomorrow so we can see if there’s still something else.
